I dont get why anyone would be pissed about bigger updates with more renders and animations. DPC is an ass but hes the fastest daz dev around, nobody is faster when we talk about renders&animations per month/year or whatever.

Why are you crying about bigger chapters? There are only 6 left, than its over and done.

I would even prefer if he prolongs it to 26 chapters or something like that and prefer the 6k render updates over small ones.

I don't like such long chapters. There's usually a lot going on in them and no vivid concentrated episodes like before. So I just get bored somewhere in the middle. For example, a nature party is probably the most boring party, there's literally nothing going on, you're just walking around and talking to people. In episode 7 you had to kick out the jocks, find out what cocktails the girls like and it was interesting and unusual.
In episode 10 there is too much going on and each event is given too little attention. After the slow episodes of seasons 1-2 everything happened too abruptly, there was no smooth transition.
And besides, the real art is to write a short, succinct story for a few pages. This is taught in screenwriting courses, when you are given an assignment to write a story on a given topic in a few pages. It's very easy to write a story of 10-20 pages and incredibly difficult to fit it into 2-3 pages. Conciseness of language is a very important quality of an author. If you can't tell a story concisely, you're just an average writer at best.

There is a powerful reason he will continue the game even he is bored to death: money. I don't think he kills the goose that laid the golden eggs in the short term (He has confirmed the game will have 4 seasons and around 16 chapters).

I think he's already made quite a bit of money. But we don't know what he spends. Maybe he's got a mortgage on a house on the bay and until he pays off the mortgage, the game's out?

In all renpy games, GameName-32 is for 32bit operating systems. The one with GameName.exe is for 64bit operating systems.
32bit should still run in 64bit operating systems but it's not optimized for that. All modern PCs since a few years are 64bit.
GameName.sh is for Linux distros.

Season 1 and 2 are bundled in the same download.

The only reason the episodes will be shorter is if he really gets so bored with the game that he wants to finish it as soon as possible.
And that's a good thing. I think he's really getting less and less interested in the game, despite what he says. For example, I'm sure he obviously doesn't work 12 hours a day as he says, but spends most of his time watching TV series in his office.
The third season is so featureless and boringly, lazily written that it seems obvious to me that I'm starting to think the episodes are growing not because of his perfectionism, but because of his laziness.
But since DPС is incredibly self-loving and likes to surround himself with love, he's going to pretend it's okay.

Yeah, he's already done it and now he doesn't know what to do because the development is too boring. I guess he'll just do more animations, no matter the quality. Snowfall animation, skiing animation, Christmas tree animation. It'll all look as awful as ep9 and 10, but he'll be able to keep himself busy.

I just read the great plots for the LIs here then in the game instead I find the usual stretched out plots that are of less and less interest (so much so that anyone who shows up becomes very interesting: Zoey, Bianca, Sally etc etc)

there are 2 storylines that it is hallucinating how they have been handled: Maya, who had to wait for something at each chapter, first the free tuition, then the end of the scavenerg hunt, then Sage, then Burke, then going to get the documents and now having someone read them and then having Jill's lawyer read them, it is not hatred that towards Maya, but insufferance.
and the second storyline carried on absurdly is Bella's, half the game wondering what happened to her husband and why Mc doesn't ask her (who then actually asks her getting answers worthy of the sphinx) now Bella reveals it to us, and we basically know as much as before, maybe he's alive, maybe he's dead, maybe he's missing, we'll need to wait another 3 - 4 chapters

there are so many subplots that have now exhausted their effect that maybe they will have a real solution maybe not (why does Mel meddle in the story between Chad and Sage? but at this point who cares?)

Partly true, I know a few games (which of course I can't mention here) where the main plot is stronger, DPC is a good storyteller and knows how to evoke a strong emotional reaction, working with emotions is his top skill, but his general writing is far from great. Doesn't work with all people, for example not with you, to each his own.
1. Maya's story with the debt is very stretched out and this is precisely Maya's story, Josy acts as a plot trigger for Maya's problems. You are right. Which ultimately led to the fact that she is a rather unpopular LI in contrast to the start of the game and many are simply on her route to steal Josy (who has no plot at all, lol)
2. I think he will justify Bella's storyline with her serious mental disorder, we got hints throughout the game and it seems that she is not ready to open up to him yet. We get hints that she has some crazy shit going on in her head, like this:

3. Zoey and Bianca are just dope, that's the thing. One girl attracts attention with her fighting spirit (while not being a criminal) and alt-looks, radically different from all the other girls, the second - the concentration of lust, teasing and a sense of taboo.(you need to cheat to get her). He introduced many girls in the middle of the game: Tara, Gina, Christie, Kylie, Becky, Tiffany e.c.t.; but only these two stand out so much. Sorry Spock, but the yoga girl is just a background extra.

but they are all signs of insecurity, like when in the aftermath of a bereavement he absolutely had to tell us that perhaps this would lead to some delay... how would we ever have noticed this delay when nothing measurable has been written in the reports for years ?! ?!?!

I think I see more claims of mental illness/being fucked in the head/insanity/craziness/etc in this thread than I do about discussions of movies and TV shows. And while Bella is clearly depressed (a legit mental disorder), people often don't mean it that way. They usually mean it as she's going to murder MC one day idk if it's because of Acting Lessons, or just stupid takes.

My guess is to be a DIK affiliated, that way Jill probably won't go for you, I just did a run as huge DIK and romanced Jill, Sage, Bella and Quinn, when it came to making a choice I only had the 3 options, Sage, Bella and others, Jill wasn't an option.

Bella had many discussions previously, many of her OG fans left the thread, and there was a lot of discussions about the closed door, James status, her mental state ( Most popular that he was a soldier and being KIA or missed, that Bella hallucinating in Ep.8 flashback). But theory with lost child, in result she going mental and James left is the most realistic for me. The locked room is a child's room, a past that Bella cannot let go of.
