What I meant was that the label "LI" is an arbitrary distinction that people are making on here, and I'm not sure it's really as significant as people are making out.

I think pretty much every girl in the game right now is on the table as an LI. The main girls on the slate might have been the original intention then DPC saw the popularity of Quinn or grew to like the character and expanded her role. The slates do indicate that the 5 are the biggest ones. But even then they're not all created equal. Jill has the least amount of proper development imo and if you crash with Sage she gets far and away the most.

Quinn is definitely one of the most important characters though. She's been driving the plot as much if not more than the MC. I called her the unofficial 6th LI for a reason.

Give me my Camila ending, though, DPC. :^)

Because a distinction needs to be made beween the girls who the MC might end up with and those he will merely have a casual relationship with. The 5 women in the EoC reports are LIs, everyone else is a sidegirl. You are, of course, entitled to use whatever words you wish to but people will correct you if your terms blur the lines between the 2.

You could say LI, main girl, even final girl although that has connotations ( ) but no matter which term you use, Maya, Josy, Bella, Jill and Sage qualify; Quinn, Jade, Cathy, Camilla, Sarah, Mel, Heather, Ashley, Elena, Nora, Lily and Envy/Nicole don't.

I don't really understand why this is supposed to be an iron law here. Has DPC said there will be no endings with "side girls" has DPC defined Quinn as a "side girl"? Is there a rule that she can't attain this mythical coveted LI status? I just think it's worth looking at the story as it's unfolding rather than getting hung up on terminology.

Not trying to be funny here:

What if Episode 8 ends with all the LI's making demands of the MC and he can't handle the pressure. Josy/Maya show up at the library, worried that MC hasn't been to class all week. They find his room empty and Tommy non-chalantly explains that MC had a breakdown and ran away.

We then cut to a dingy apartment in San Diego: Zoe opens the door to find MC standing in front of her with a suitcase.

MC: "Hi, can I stay with you?"


Episode 9 features all five LIs road tripping together to San Diego to get MC and bring him back to campus, while MC and Zoe have philosophical discussions as MC "finds himself."

making the Mc escape for the second time would be repetitive ...

I really hope not. AL was my favourite LN up until the fire and the twist. Not because it wasn't the ending that I wanted but because it was unsatisfying. It's been a while since I played but the promise didn't match the payoff. I think DPC did it that way to subvert the typical porn LN but I wouldn't like it a second time.

If Bella has her husband's corpse frozen in the locked room or some other crazy twist I'll just be annoyed. The kiss quote
"But if I had known the real reasons to her tears... and to her persona... I wouldn't have kissed her that night. I would have called out for help."
Implies something pretty bad is going on under the surface. It's vague and could mean anything. All we know is something is bothering her and her super bitchy attitude has a route cause. But it, in and of itself, isn't enough to give any hint she might be psychotic. And there are no other real clues yet.

So if it went that way I would be really upset. A twist for the sake of a twist is bad. This is me extolling all my writing experience and classes here, but if a twist blindsides you and doesn't add up it can ruin a whole story.

I am leaning towards her husband being MIA. The mannequin is her husbands uniform. Possible he is KIA as well. I strongly hope it isn’t a dead body. Would take Bella from being traumatised to being deranged. Some have argued smell would stop this being possible, but as it’s a game real world logic doesn’t necessarily come into play.

Honestly Chad being gay was my initial theory the first time I played but things don't add up if that were the case.

I’d wager Chad is gay. A lot of stuff is circumstantial, but that’s the way of things until we get the actual answer.

Lots of people think it but it doesn't make sense. The most obvious issue with that theory is that mc's mom died when he was born. Jill is 2 or 3 years older than mc. That means Jill was 3 when her sister died. She's way older than 3 in the photo on her sister's shoulders, and all her memories with her sister imply she was much older than three when she died.

Possible the picture isn’t Jill and her sister. Could be her sister and Mum. Could also be the case that MCs mum didn’t die in childbirth. Again at the minute, evidence is circumstantial.

Wondering if Jill is older than she appears as that could solve some of the issues?

I think this is possible. She certainly has a mature vibe.

The other obvious one is that Jill makes a big deal about the tree at the picnic, about how it was her and her sister's favorite spot where they would write and such. In the flashbacks to the mc's mom, she's writing under a tree, it is so not the same tree. She's allowed to write under any tree she likes, but it's just another counter argument (if the tree was the same, then that'd be a serious game changer in this argument).

Again, fully acknowledge this is speculation with no evidence, but you could argue the way we see the flashbacks is in the MCs minds eye. In other words the tree is different, because The MC is picturing a random tree.

Again appreciate this is bending what we know to fit the theory, miss remembering or imagining a situation is fairly common when there is a hidden truth to be revealed.

A totally left field suggestion for Chad's side chick. Maybe he's just making money on the side for the tri-alphas working for a phone sex company and this company sends gifts in the mail to their customers and stuff. Not a field I have much expertise in though, but just a thought.

For the theory to really work either Jill would have to be older than we realise or MCs mum didn’t die at the time we’re told. At the moment Jill’s age is the main reason I don’t buy the theory. (Even though I won’t write it off until Lynette and Jill’s sister are confirmed different people)

Aunt - niece isn’t incest, it’s even legal, but that’s a strong counter-argument to the theory and that’s good.

I’m not sure about Aunt/Nephew being legal. In lots Of places first cousins aren’t legal either. Remember we haven’t seen any ‘incest’ yet. If the reveal happens before they get any more physical the DPCs line of ‘no incest’ will still be true. I’d also suggest he may mean no fetishistic incest, in other words MC isn’t fucking her because she’s his Aunt but instead because they are both ignorant of the truth.

Again I’d prefer this theory not to be true since I like Jill and I’d love to see her getting a proper deep dickin‘.

You don't have to have accepted Quinn's restaurant offer, but:

• You have to have DIK affinity
• You cannot be in a serious relationship with Maya and Josey
• You had to have sex with her on the roof of the DIK mansion

Thats a bit wrong, on my main save I wasn't DIK affinity and didn't have sex with her on the rooftop (no drugs for my MC) and still got the scene. The requirements might as well be not being on the M&J path and being Neutral/DIK affinity. I haven't done her restaurant either on that save.

But whatever evidence we have so far, isn't it safe to assume that Jill isn't MC's aunt? And yes,as u said the only way this theory would work is if Jill is older than we think she is, and Lynette didn't really die during MC's birth. But that also implies that MC's father lied to him about his mother's death..but what possible reason could he have for that? And even if he did lie about her death, then why did he cry in front of MC during his birthday celebration remembering Lynette? MC also says that even though his dad doesn't blame him for his mother's death, he sill gets emotional every year for the same reason. What other reason could he have that he gets so emotional every year if not for Lynette's death?

it is indeed quite possible since the game hints at something dark behind the scenes, don't think it's something as extreme as that though, but definitely something serious that involves trauma for sure since she begins to cry when she first kisses MC,

but it is odd however that she would act so hesitant to the MC's advancements and yet in the recent episode she talks about it being "just carnal" but then realizes it something more but just hates to admit it. It's worth noting that Jill either knows or suspects something as well since in EP 5 she seemed to have peeked into the room or at least tried to.
