I think "fight for jill" option will have a high consequence later!
I agree. So far the players have the option to avoid other LIs except for Jill.

'Fight for Jill' could be that option which locks you on the Jill path and 'Don't Fight for Jill' could be the one that locks the Jill path.

What are you talking about? You can totally avoid her. She barely exists in my playthroughs.

The only two LIs you can't avoid are Maya and Josy. They're integral to the main plot and closest to the MC, regardless of his status or affinity.

I chose Game of Thrones for comparison because:
  • It has only a few episodes per season (compared to other series that have like 20+ episodes that span half the year),
  • It ran for as many years as people are speculating this game will run,
  • It was wildly popular within it genre (as is BaDIK); and
  • Because there was incest (yes BaDIK doesn't have incest, but here at F95 that's a rarity).
It's the obvious choice for comparison. :p

Whether you liked GoT or not, it had the staying power (I thoroughly enjoyed it up until season 6 but still didn't mind it after that, even the ending didn't bother me too much although it could have been fleshed out more which means more episodes were warranted and it would have taken even longer to complete).

People watched it from beginning to end, and more people joined the viewership as the years went by. Same as BaDIK.

Your fear is it will dwindle and die before it's completed, I'm suggesting that it won't. DPC has already storyboarded the whole game. He fleshes things out as he creates each episode, but he already knows where he's taking the game, he's not just winging it.

I do have a worry that the game may suddenly kick into serious plot mode (like Acting Lessons did once most of the relationships were solidified), and many people may not like that change of pace or direction (I didn't particularly like Acting Lessons whereas thousands lauded it). But that's a different argument.

I don't think this game is going to be just about finally fucking Jill. The MC is already reached his prime, everyone at the college knows him, he has the DIKs and the HOTs virtually eating out of his hand, the teachers are already sucking his cock. Shit has to start going down hill soon, i.e. a conflict to sustain the rest of the game, and my guess is it will come in the form of Vinnie.

Not yet though, we still have a bunch of things to solve that may take a few more episodes:
  • Who sent the Jocks the blackmail pictures?
  • Who sent the Cathy cluck?
  • What behind Bella's door?
  • What's the deal with Bella and James?
  • What happened between Bella and Jill (their purported one night stand)?
  • What will the MC do with his 5K?
  • Is there a traitor in the DIKs and is it Nick?
  • How will the MC beat Tybalt's blackmailing of Jill?
  • What will the MC's Mom's diary reveal?
  • Will there be an ultimate confrontation with Maya's Dad?
  • What will be the fallout from Burke seeing the Jade and MC video?
  • What is Jill's campaign about specifically?
  • Is Lily seriously looking to have Quinn supply drugs to the Pink Rose girls?
  • What will Jill's third date with Tybalt be and what will happen once they have finished the third date?
  • Will Vinny return as an antagonist?
  • Will the MC make Riona cum?
There's enough shit there, along with sex scenes, Halloween parties, Spring Break, etc. for this to live on for ages.

Plus, DnG is great. :geek:
I'd rather compare the game to a sitcom. These are comedic situations arising from the immaturity of the characters and the dramatic component is so insignificant that it can be solved without problems for the main characters.
There is no linear plot and conflict in the game. This is not a claim. This is typical for most porn games.
I admire the developer. In the hands of another developer, it would be an average game. But he made an amazing game thanks to his storytelling skills and a well-chosen balance of graphics and music.
Of course, the timing of development is the main thing that worries everyone. I think if he could DPС released the game right now. But he raised the quality bar so high that he can't make the game worse. He became a hostage of his own high quality. If he had done less, many would have said that this is not the level of quality of DPC and other shit.
Nevertheless, I agree that the development time has increased slightly, but the content will increase even more. 4000 renders in six months is a fantastic result. Not every developer on this site can produce 4000 renderers in a year at all. It is thanks to him that the developers began to strive for 1000 renders per month as a quality standard.

what do you mean "avoid"?

the only LI you can almost completely avoid is Sage (besides being able to reject her on 2 occasions)

Maya (and consequently Josy) has been central for the whole first season, but remains very present in the second season as well.
Jill on the contrary is present in the first season and dominant in the second one.

Bella, although she has very little space, is practically unavoidable for the non-sexual scenes (the "date" meeting, going to console Cathe, the tennis...)

So like a Mass Effect or TellTale type setup? Good thinking by the Doc. Will save on download times.
Oh no, poor Conrad! Because seriously, they dropped the ball a couple places, he's just the most well known. I don't want all my save imports to think I beat up Troy. (unless DPC includes that as a joke)
"Thousands of variables" That sounds like a hell of a lot of work and variations for gameplay. Hopefully DPC doesn't start linking previous decisions in such a way that seemingly pointless options in the game have a positive or negative effect. That could put a lot of played-through routes through each other.
As long as he's been keeping track of how many times we blast rope into Camila, Riona, and the other girls-for-flavor so we have potential consequences, I'll be happy.

Well Conrad does apologize for saying you shot him in the foot when you didn't, maybe we'll get something like that in a later season if DPC screws up the imports in that regard lol.

Well I didn't mean in that sense...I meant in code. If I am correct, no matter what path you are on, Jill path is always activated regardless of what you choose throughout the game.

By avoiding LIs I meant that there are choices that deactivates their path but for Jill, there is none for now.

I suspect that those choices "Fight/Don't fight for Jill" will do that job.

And apologies, I wasn't clear in my previous post though I did say about locking in or locking Jill's path...

ah ok

technically i think however that the outcome of the first date is already binding. without that there is no goodbye date and the story is effectively over, the bond derived from Tybalt's blackmail remains, but i would say only that

the "don't fight for Jill" is just a way of developing from her after that

or rather Jill is the only LI for whom you have a direct way (apparently) to break off the relationship.

Don't forget Lily...
After you had the lewd scene at the HOT party she is implying to take over together with MC.
She keeps reminding you in the short time that is left in episode 7 (winking and hinting and responding to rooster)

I wonder if it is possible to complete the game without having sex with anyone? Theoretically, yes. Jill's way is the way of abstinence for the sake of a single girl. I wonder if there were those who passed the game in this way?

Instead of a behind-the-scenes making of BaDIK, what about behind the scenes of BaDIK itself? I think it would be pretty entertaining if DPC did outtakes starring the virtual actors after he's completed the game.
The insanely talented artist G_Jin made some fan-art on this concept
