I just finished my run but you can do Jill as long as you don't have a DIK affinity, so you can have a Neutral one and will be good to go since that's where my affinity ended.
Yeah I think normally you can easily gain a lot of DIK points in the early chapters like massively I was a Big DIK but I think after joining successfully the DIK frat depending on your playstyle you can slide back to neutral if you become a bit more tame in choices.
I think the main factors are doing well in your classes that help balance it at least by the time this chapter concludes.
Well, already asked fot the answers for the English test, cause English isn't my native language (and once again looking for the words on a page with possible words in Scrabble words can be annoying .
And well, I' admit, with the English test someone already posted in the reply for me the other test result, so... screw it, I'm not gonna pretend that I didn't seen it (even if the first Math test in Ep. 8 I passed perfecty without the walkthrough)
you were going through the programmed novel, right?
In my opinion, especially such a playthrough couldn't be expected by anyone and therefore no "specialists" storyline would have be written nor render time wasted... (which is appreciated by most of the readers for an earlier update... well, obviously not by the "specialists")
a consideration only on the final scene, the "FUCK" scene .
it's not such a bad scene, it's basically a reaction of surprise, but you have to focus on the only real danger, which in MC's eyes, as far as MC knows, is solely Tybalt.
Tybalt despises MC and despises him in any scenario, in fact I would say that thanks to Jill he has never hated him so much (regardless of whether MC is with Jill or not)
if MC is having an affair with Jade, the surprise is understandable but it is not a danger, in fact it would be an extra ally. even in the hypothesis that he is having an affair with Sage as well, it would certainly not emerge in that meeting, Sage will certainly not present him as her boyfriend, and in the same way Jade will not do anything to expose him. at the limit it will become a problem to be dealt with later, but this situation is still very peculiar.
Mc at the moment doesn't know anything about Burke, so he has no reason to be afraid of him (even if there was a movie, Mc doesn't know it, so he can't be afraid of something he doesn't know). apart from that I see it very unlikely that Burke will take advantage of Maya's situation, she already walks on thin ice, to play with someone that her daughter is trying to help would be a quite suicidal choice (to those who imagine strange blackmails I remember that James, Bella's husband, in the flashback doesn't even kiss her...)
So I finished my Sage-path episode 8 playthrough (loved it) and got back to my fresh Maya+Josy playthrough and noticed something eerie. I don't know if it has been discussed before but it seems that something is going to happen to Riona. There is this blue truck that seems to follow her. In the first picture you can even see someone's legs before disappearing when Quinn arrives. The same truck can be seen again at the end of episode 8 passing by Riona and she notices it. That got me thinking: there were more than one people that followed Riona when she said that she feels like she's being watched. One is the stalker which we got rid off and the other are the people in the truck (probably Vinny or someone that works for him?). So yeah, I expect something fucked up to happen to Riona in the future.

in my memory the only mandatory sex for MC is cumpetition
But I agree with you, I think the main suspect is Derek directly or indirectly (Ashley pregnant with Anthony?).
If MC is having an affair with Jade, it's not just a surprise, but definitely also a danger. I mean if Burke watched the video of Jade and her new boytoy, I'm sure he will give a mean handshake when they meet.

Well, Jade is now an enemy of the MC. If the MC rejected Jade, she holds a grudge against him, because she feels rejected and maybe because she thinks that the MC can start a rumor about Jade being a slut that seduces students. And if the MC didn´t rejected jade, the grudge is even bigger... So, I think that the reunion is going to be a failure mostly because of Jade, not only Tybalt. She's going to find an excuse to not help Maya, and, if the MC is in Sage's path, ruin their relationship somehow.
My problem with that scene is that the MC being there is forced if he´s not into a relationship with Maya, and even if he´s... what is the purpose of being him there, out of the necessity of the plot? Even if you are playing, for example, a pure Isabella path and you rejected every single interaction in the game with Maya, Josy and Sage, and they have no valid reason to be so close with the MC, the MC ends up there, in that reunion... It´s a forced situation for the sake of the drama and the plot.
I just went to replay this scene, but nope, no option to reject her. Duno if it's related to affinity (I have huge DIK status). In other runs I was given the option to reject her only if I didn't stay at her place.
And thanks! I didn't really play with all the drink options

You can only reject Sage in that scene if you weren't already on her path. So basically you get the option to start something with her or not. There is no dumping her at that point.
the pregnancy conspirators:
well, I don't know your playstyle but I was raw inside all of the girls possible.
MC seems never had sexuality lessons in school classes, nor has he heard of condoms or an invention made and used in almost each G20 country which is the pill.
He also doesn't care about the pill after nor is he confronted with by his encounters.
But, the vaginal creampie option, that's somehow true, is for one or the other of the 2 routes.
I am 99% sure it is the pregnancy test from where his mom discovers she is pregnant. My opinion is that if there is risk of accidental pregnancy which can cause problems for the MC, it will be from season 3 onwards.
Think the game will have quite a shift from season 3.

Jade also reacts badly when MC defers on their first date, but even then I don't really think she gets revenge on Maya....
MC's involvement this time was handled better than other times
if Mc is not in a relationship with Maya, he is there because Sage asked him to be (Maya doesn't even explain him directly what she talked about with Sage, it's just Sage who told him about it, omitting of course the most interesting part... ), and being a friend of all 3 girls he is supposed to accompany them
MC doesn't play an active role (like most of the time) but he goes there as a shoulder to cry on, as a motivator in case things go wrong, for what Sage says he shouldn't even talk to Burke (I think he's the one they're going to talk to, I wouldn't take Jade's presence for granted)

I hope so. That'll be what drives Heather into needing a shoulder (or cock) to cry on and my MC is ready.
Stephen does seem to be very well connected and according to all of Tybbie's "My daddy" posts on Rooster, he's apparantly loaded. It would make it very hard to bring him down without Jill or Rusty's help if it comes to that.
Tybalt also mentioned to MC that he also came from poverty. If that is true, it can be assumed that his father's, Stephen's, luck in trade might just be a front and that he used illegal means to get money from different sources. Contributed shitload to the school which made him an honorary professor (to his wife's disgust).
Quick couple of thoughts after playing
What's the only real hook to bring back MC's ex with any bit of (realistic) drama is that the pregnancy at the end is a flashback - what better way to fuck up the MC's life after making his big decision than an ex to come back with baby in tow- Yes MC you ARE the father.
Too many dark light renders, no point in spending all that time rendering when its too dark to clearly make out
