this is historical revisionism.... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

MC immediately proposes not to date anyone else (suicide in a porn game), it is Maya who opposes him and tells him to continue until he himself feels the need to stop.

anyway in the next chapter Mc should declare them his intention to get serious and then I guess they will become inseparable... or not?
Let's call it cynicism. The MC asks if they expect him to stop dating girls. You can take that as him proposing to be exclusive with them, or as him trying desperately to keep his options open. Much as I'd prefer it to be the former, the way Elana had to bludgeon him over the head to realize how bad pursuing multiple paths was convinces me it was the latter.

And hence why I'm less than impressed by his newfound commitment when he can't even be bothered to mention the news to them! Episode 9 is certainly welcome to prove me wrong.

and what would it have shown us of interest so far about Lynette's story? I don't mean for BADIk's story, but just in general, from Lynette's diary what have we learned?
how she met Neil we already knew, of the family connections with Jill (which I could already bet will be at least questionable...) something already foreseen for a long time (but for the wrong reasons), and for now the diary is not that it has clarified much, it has only reiterated the mystery, the link that nobody knows.
It shows us what Lynette was like before meeting Neil and what her initial thoughts of him were. I find that a lot more interesting and/or relevant than Bella's OMG antics.

Burke is so stupid that he went to molest Mona when his wife and his partners are walking around? And why did Quinn send Mona and not Camila or Riona? They are much more experienced girls. If she wanted to make sure she became a restaurant dish, wouldn't it be easier to offer Mona Tremolo first?
Technically, Burke thought Jade would be with Cathy that evening. He was surprised when she showed up (because Cathy went to visit Isabella and Jade evidently has a grudge against our favorite librarian).

Burke was still being monumentally stupid, of course, just slightly less stupid than it might appear at first glance.

Exactly. Therefore, I believe that many exaggerate the importance of the restaurant for the history of Sage. Lol, there isn't even such a variable in the game code. I'm just wondering how DPC will play out the drama with the restaurant in the future. Maybe Lily will arrange for Sage to find out about it. And it turns out that Quinn is not so bad. But in any case, I would like to have more control over the decisions.
The game obviously tracks the MC's choice about the restaurant, otherwise the girls wouldn't know when to ask him for $ for their companionship.

I've been working hard on the interlude since the last status update.

I'm close to 80% done with the writing and am currently focusing on creating the art for it.

There will be new GUI designs and one new mini-game for it.

Tomorrow, I'll be taking the day off to celebrate Christmas.

I'd like to wish you a Merry Christmas to all who also celebrate, and a Happy Holidays to everyone else!

Thank you for the amazing support you've shown me this year.

As a little Holiday gift, enjoy this preview of the upcoming interlude!

Good grief. I'm getting the sense that future historians will be shocked to learn that Zoey was entirely absent from early BaDIK.

Alright, let's focus. She has her tattoos in this preview, so we know the Interlude will definitely include her time out west. And I wasn't expecting a minigame - call me crazy, but I don't think breaking up the gameplay of a ~60 minute tale is a high priority. Other than that I don't think we learned much. Writing and coding is usually a small percent of the task, and we still have no numbers as far as art assets.

I sure hope we go back to as least marginally informative weekly updates when work on Episode 9 finally starts.

:(. Sad but true. And I think we all reached the point where we have to admit, this whole three-way polygamy relationship is just not working. It is not even about the fact that the three of them together does not have many content. But mostly because its not benefits to any of the character .
When MC is alone with either Josy and Maya it is working. But somehow three of them together not. And its also not help that Josy is a foil to Maya, and legit nothing more. She had a brief rise in episode 7, but in this episode not.
and I'm disappointed that Josy dislike the picture wiht the Stripers:LOL:. and Josy should be the wild one not Maya.:ROFLMAO:. anyway, overl Threesome sex is fun, and there are many pairings that still could happen, one way or another. Still Hoping for Josy & Jill. But the actual three way relationship is not working.
and I'm not so confident if there is an escape from that. The only hope is Elena comments during Josy and MC dance, Yeah I do think its love

I guess I'm unusual. I find the M&J throuple compelling precisely because it focuses on the individuals rather than the group. Yes, Maya and Josy still have issues to sort out and there's no guarantee it will survive in the long term, but it's supposed to be a work in progress. It comes across as three people who each have very strong feelings for the other two trying to make a go of it.

My only complaint is that the relationship has been stuck on hold for all of Season 2. Admittedly, that is a rather BIG flaw, but I attribute it to DPC's stupid crossroad rather than showing a lot of one-on-one scenes. I definitely hope we'll finally get down to sorting out the relationship in Season 3, but the relentless Zoey focus does nothing to set my mind at ease. :(

Also players should keep in mind that there is a RP system for the preps as well just like with the DIKs and Nerds and ofc the ladies , so make sure to keep that in a positive standing with the preps , i am sure that it will come in handy with the whole Tybalt problem in the long run
There are RPs for the other frats, but I'm skeptical DPC is still using them. If he was, wouldn't the decision to call a truce (or not) with Gordon and Christian merit some?

I think people don't try to understand the characters not to their liking, that's why the waifu battles happen.

Jill also had problems with bullying, we see that in the Jillybean flashback. She is the kind of good girl who gives it all and thinks that everybody is good (yes, naive but there are many people like that in real life), she is a giver. Because of that, people like her are hurt when the not-that-good people abuse their trust so to avoid that her personal circle is very limited.

The purpose of the whole Tybalt blackmail plot (more like abuse-trust plot) was to show that Jill is a kind, caring good girl that will do anything to protect their own even if it goes against her needs (because she wants Tremolo badly) and also that, if needed, she has the guts to stand up to abusers like Tybalt when it's just too much, so she has learned something and grow up. Tucker (or whatever was the fucker's name) will not cut Jillybean's hair anymore.

That said, the problem I find with Jill is that she is too good to be true. She is designed to be the main of the mains, the poster girl of the game, and sometimes I find her too perfect, even her flaws aren't really flaws.
My problem with Jill's blackmail subplot isn't that she takes Tybalt's threat against the MC seriously, or that she acts unilaterally to help him. It's that she recognizes immediately what Tybalt is asking her to do in Episode 6, yet she goes along with it without any plan to inform the MC (he pretty much has to pry it out of her). Worse, when Episode 7 rolls around she comes close to panicking the instant Tybalt collects on the dates she owed him; I know Jill doesn't like Tybalt, but wasting 10 hours of life isn't worth an existential crisis.

Even the end of the subplot sucked because it just points out how trivial it was to solve this problem all along. I know the idea is supposed to be that Jill had to 'find her voice' or learn to stand up for herself or something, but a) her voice worked just fine in the first few episodes, and b) this still happens even if Jill knuckles under to stage fright and feels like a failure.

But whatever, the plot is dead and good riddance. I have high hopes for Jill going forward, especially since she seems to be the only LI who was able to secure a genuine, two-way commitment with the MC.

I don't think most people feel as strongly as you do, but the disappearance of Cathy has definitely been a disappointment. She'll presumably come back someday, but that's no excuse for the way she's been sidelined for the last 3 episodes.

Finally played in my main playthrought ep 8 and I fucking love it. The threesome didn't come but was beautifull see MC set a special night for Josy and Maya. So caring and sweet. I really loved all the moments with M/J, specially in dorm party, and like MC says in breakfast, the choice was simple: are them, always them. But i also liked Jill recital. Since the beginning my MC never pursue Jill but was always nice to her and was great see he like a true and care friend helping Jill overcome her fear without second intentions. Great final and i can't wait for season 3. Final thoughts: DPC can throw Zoey in my MC arms all he want, i choose be loyal and faithfull to Josy and Maya until the end. And if that pig of Burke try get any sexual favors from my love Maya blackmailing her with his "help" i expect being able of fucking kill him.

Some favorites screenshots to celebrate MC, Josy and Maya's love.
