seems to me to be a probono defence...
The fact that MC already knows them should reassure him, not make him nervous.
Burke has always had an extremely kind attitude towards him, even during the Chad beating he was absolutely friendly. so it doesn't make sense that he would be intimidated.
the flirtation with Jade obviously has nothing to do with it, the reaction is the same whether he accepts or rejects her, and in case he rejects her Jade should at the most fear MC and not the contrary
Mc has never feared Tybalt (and has always known he was the son of two professors), why should he start now?
then it's one thing to be nervous (there are many reasons for this, including Maya's fate), and another to panic, which is what happens.
I think Jade cares a lot about her family. Jade loves her children and Stephen too, we learn that in her conversation with the MC. Jade confided a lot to the MC. What if Jade is behind all of this?
We've known since EP8 that Jade suspects Chad of being gay and thus harming Sage. Jade chose the MC for Sage to help Sage get over the impending breakup. A few blackmail pictures to Chad will definitely help. Why did Cathy have to leave? She got along too well with the MC. The looks from Jade in the teachers' lounge actually speak volumes.
Why did Mona have to leave? Couldn't it be that Mona cared a little too much about the MC and could have become Sage's rival? Mona went very overboard when she helped the MC with the slap task. At the EP4 party, Mona said that she would also like to be with the MC. Alcohol is liquid courage, Derek says.
Let's get back to Stephen. Stephen didn't even explicitly say in the game that he fucks coeds. Jade suspected it in the argument and Stephen just didn't deny it. But he didn't admit it either.
Now let's move on to Quinn. Quinn is involved in everything. The prostitution could be voluntary on the part of the girls. But why is Quinn so obsessed with Maya? Maya is getting in the way of the plan to get Sage and the MC together. Why is Quinn offering the restaurant to the MC? Why does the sperm petition come after that? Well, Jade and Quinn want to make sure the MC isn't like Chad. Gay, that is. It would be stupid of them to replace one gay with another.
Destroying the mansion might help the MC find a new place to stay and bring Sage closer to the MC. That was the plan. But things turned out differently. In EP5, some people learn from Geoff who Tremolo really is. Geoff urgently needs to talk to 3 other teachers and Stephen. As a result Mona had to leave because she doesn't fit into the concept of the MC family. Now Geoff wants to test the MC and come to an agreement with Rusty's father so that he doesn't lose money for the repair of the mansion.
So as of EP6, everything is open again. Except for one thing. You now know who the MC is. MC Wallace. And a new run for the MC begins. Maybe that's why the conversation between Maya and the Burkes came about. Sage already knows that the MC and Maya are close. Then she gets more information from Josy. But the Burkes step it up a notch. Stephen finds out about Isabella from Zoey and Sage knows about the MC herself, so he should have talked once, but didn't and now it's too late for that. Stephen and Jade were both in a long term relationship. Josy is hugging a blonde older woman in one of the photos. Is Josy somehow related to the Burkes? She seems to know Tybalt. Are the Burkes betting that if the MC doesn't want Maya, he'll take Zoey and Josy and/or Sage will fall in love with Maya because the MC prefers Maya to Josy? Is that why the Burkes offer Maya the tuition, which is then actually paid for by MC Wallace, but he doesn't know about it yet.
