Yeah, totally. Any plot twist can completele change my views about a character. They are meant to do that. Luckly I feel confortable defending Maya couse I think there are reasons to think that's not posible, like for example: she is a LI, we seen some clues on how is her dad, and Maya had some private talks beetween Maya and Josy about the issue and match what she has told us so far.

I've been pretty much Sage's fuckbuddy this whole run, but not DIKsh enough to get the side girls I want. I saw the images the other day of having Cammie & Lily on a CHIK run. I must be doing something wrong somewhere or not walking a tight path when it comes to Affin/Status.

If I can't get it to where I want today, I'm giving up on it.

the only scenes I see locked is the threesome with Camilla and Mona, Quinn scene and I think the first one is locked by a DIK statut and Quinn reject you if you have chick affinity. Outside of that I think the other scene are just behind a "pay wall"

BADIK definitely have a dark theme lurking around the back but with that said BADIK seems a more chill and sort slice of life VN than DPC previous work.

The themes addressed in the game are quite dark, but there is the whole side of parody, fun, sex, which comes to attenuate the heavier parts.

Don't forget the staging as well. It's not a movie, but it's not a book either, and the way it's illustrated plays a big role.

Speaking of which, I think the way DPC staged Maya and her father was too dark. It was illustrated as a very dark, dangerous, depressing thing, so we expected something terrible, and in fact we end up with the story of the loan.

I think if it had been illustrated a little differently, there would be fewer people stuck on this loan story.

At the same time, the times when the game is the darkest and most depressing is when it's about Maya, which doesn't help her popularity.

Im not looking to go full white Knight with her but I’m appreciating the MC involvement has moved beyond just paying her and/or hooking up and into helping her and being there for her. If anything I think her route should be less sexual. Give me more music under the tree and less shoving candy up her ass.

She makes passing reference to other clients and says she’d prefer to be with the MC. She’s obviously not enjoying the work like Sarah/Mel. Replaying the game to focus on Quinn (I was actually replaying to get my head around Burke’s involvement with Quinn’s business) she’s being straight up abused by her. Literal gaslighting occurs more than once. It’s textbook domestic violence (even if they’re not together, Quinn goes from backhand slapping to kissing her in one conversation with abusive language and gaslighting thrown in for good measure). She’s mistreated immensely but doesn’t get the same level of concern from the MC that major characters like Quinn gets (who doesn’t deserve it in my opinion).

I want the long sought after orgasm she gets with the MC to come not from some MDMA fuelled orgy the MC paid for but from something closer to Jill’s first time or even the time with Quinn in the library. An emotional connection bringing her there. Something with dialogue and non-sexual animations to bring it to life… Complete with its own unique song that doesn’t get reused fucking Jade in a motel.

Regarding all of the loan stuff, I never really let it bother me. Perhaps because I don't often follow the M&J route, but I just view it as a silly part of the game that I don't think about that much. When I think of the writing in game I focus on the interpersonal relationships and the conversations between the characters. That, to me, is where this game really shines. Unlike most F95 games where conversations are:
LL - "Oops my robe slipped and my big titty fell out!"
TN - "Whoa, landlady, my PP getting so much hard."
LL - "Really tenant? I will now commence handjob because both of your arms are broken for some odd reason and you'll die in 24 hours if you don't cum...because...Science! Hopefully your roommate won't come home early from her barista job at coffee shop. So I must wank fast.

My issues are only when DPC gets distracted from his university character relations and we are snatched away from B&R for superfluous actions like Zoey's san Diego adventures, D&G, or Lynette boring story time.

I agree with you about dialogue in most of these games, it's awful. But there are games out there with good writing so that doesn't really absolve BaDIK for being better than most.

And I would have agreed with you about the relationships up until ep 4 or 5, but what he's done to the Sage relationship since with the lame comfort MC offered after the break up or the rebound guy or the unfathomable Quinn threesome or that the guitar lessons no longer mattered. It's just gone to shit.

Also from what I've seen of it the Jill path is all over the place too and I'm not qualifies to comment on the Bella path because I've never pursued it. That said even if you don't follow M/J that whole student loan catastrophe is still there, knocking me right out of the story every time it comes up, it's unavoidable. It's going to be there until the end of the game.

CANCEL CULTURE IN ZONE F95 AND MAYA THE LESBIAN CLICHÉ: A PATHETIC FANTASY FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE WARRIORS

Maya, the lesbian character oppressed by her white, middle aged, heterosexual religious-conservative father is, obviously, a cliché in western countries in XXI century. The homosexual person as a victim "by default" of the "prejudices of conservative society" as is depicted in modern pop culture (movies, TV shows and series, videogames, etc.) is, again, just a cliché imposed by the power of the gay lobby to the entertainment industry. The objective is to get society to see all homosexuals as victims, and therefore worthy of special privileges and possessors of moral superiority. The "progressive" political parties support that gay lobby in exchange of votes, and the gay lobby supports those political parties in exchange of public money, privileges and power.

I don´t think that Dr. PinkCake is being controlled by the lobby gay, obviously, but he´s into that mainstream thinking and that´s why all his homosexual characters (Maya and Chad) are victims in this game. Also, apparently, the player should feel sympathy for them just because they are homosexual, even if they both are awful characters.

Chad is a terrible person that makes her girlfriend´s life miserable for a long time, and even physically assaults the Main Character in the middle of the night. But both Sage and the Main Character, apparently, should be worried about him and his secret. A secret that, in real life in a US college, nobody would actually care about (again, the "victim" gay cliché)

Maya is a drama queen that, after lying and tricking the main character for their own selfish purposes, emotionally manipulates him to get his help. Because she´s not able to take care of her own problems. And DPC pretends that the player must feel OK with that and accept that, even if the Main Character is not romantically interested in her anymore, he must be her best friend and allow her to drag him into her problems. It makes the Main Character not a good person, but a fucking emotional hostage of Maya. As a player, you have to be very stupid to feel sympathy and empathy for characters like those.

There are only two reasons to follow Maya´s path:

1. Maya has a cute 3D model. That’s all. Some people don´t care about the character´s personality. Only see a cute face and a good body.

2. To be a pathetic Social Justice Warrior that gets his little prick hard (if a SJW can get his prick hard, which is highly doubtful) with the fantasy of being the "hero" of a lesbian by pissing off a white, heterosexual middle aged conservative man (the evil for the gay lobby and those pathetic SJW) and being accepted into her relationship as a lame third wheel.

Oh I'm no fan of Sage's bizarre character swings at all (and continue to at the nonsensical threesome). Ep. 8 might be my least favourite of season 2, but I still really enjoy the dialogue between characters because it flows so well. The conversations (and related emotions) are genuine and seem like you could have them IRL regardless of the implausibility of some of the topics like loans and such. Most games on F95 I can't imagine myself in the MC's position, but BaDIK I can (well aside from banging 5 or 6 girls in a row at a mansion party). In a lot of other games I get the impression the dialogue is written by 15 year old virgin. In this one the girls act more naturally, which only comes from a writer with some life experiences outside of a masturbatory basement.

I had doubts so I checked to make sure and yes, it is the same

Riona needs several requirements for her to like the MC but the most important is in EP 7 when she sends the message to the MC about the stalker

So it took me by surprise because I wanted to help Riona but I didn't want to accept Quinn's offer and in EP 7 doing the previous steps like arguing with her and kissing her in EP 4, Confronted her and giving her money in EP 5

And all this led me to the same result
