I don't mind the NTR an ex did it to me in real life

Why would I cry if they did it to a character in a game and I cried a lot at that time
Surely we've covered this before.

I thought so to but I guess not? Either that or I'm just not following the wording.

"One PC renders static renders whenever I'm not using it for work; the PC slaves are all rendering animations."
When he's not coding/posing, the main machine handles the static renders. Gotta keep all those machines humming!

It is a full time thing, he just can't render while doing other things for the game on that specific PC. He has the render farm but we don't know how big exactly it is. (Maybe at least 10 PC for rendering animations only which takes a lot of time).
Somehow I doubt it's that big. If there were ten PCs just for rendering videos the updates wouldn't take half a year, give or take.

:coffee: Updated BigTable™ with the recent informations.
ColdShower!

  • DPC supposedly done about 10 animations that week. Total projection in that range: 275-310-345.
    • Total Animation Time could be: 35-40-45 minutes if we follow the Interlude ratio.
  • With a steady 1.43 A/D. It would take 2.6-3.4-4.2 months to finish that ambition, which is concerning.
    • That would give End September - Mid October - Mid November; just to finish animations.
  • That sudden increase of animations project far beyond exceptional EP8 development time…
    • Meaning at minimum an other 100 Days of development time.
  • Release estimate now as wide as 32 weeks - 38 weeks. Mid October - End November.

(y) Thumb up to well made Casiope DIK Walkthrough.
That three months of development of the Interlude were a totally drag, and now we are paying the consequences. Three and a half months wasted only to deliver half of the content that we can find in Episode 3 with the same time of developement invested. I don't know if DPC needed that break on his schedule to avoid getting burned out, but man, I get the feeling that I'm wating since november.

I think you are underestimating the length of time it takes for a 1 second of animation to be rendered. Even professional VFX studios with massive render farms take months to animate a scene and they have hundreds of PCs doing them.

???

Seems like folks nowadays assume the role of DPC and tell it straight it was a waste of time... and I stupid fuck thought this was DPC-s story to tell and the way he saw it fit... Ehh I was wrong before... what's one or two more ?

 And now he should add more personel to his own project !!! Randos nowadays... :KEK:
