For example, why would I beat Troy or Tybalt just to fit the DIK affinity. For me personally, this choises is a bit silly. Beating Troy makes no sense, he's already been fucked and the damage is done, and releasing frustration can be done in other ways. Beating Tybalt all the more so — MC is already on his bad side and he prep with connections, so it will only turn into something bad.
I absolutely cannot understand people who play for CHICK and enjoy it. So many fun moments are missed. And besides that: CHICK MC is some soy boy who runs away from alphas, instead of taking the fight like a man. He is overly polite and too correct, like Steve Rogers. He refuses to go to a bar with Tommy, even though Tommy went to the trouble of making a damn fake ID. CHICK - this is the guy who comforts Steve for no reason, although he has always been an asshole. He's also a damn pro-feminist.
And how else can you forget about such funny moments that characterize the DIK personality more:
And here I fantasized a little, imagined how the Massive CHICK desktop should look like at the end of the second season. In my opinion, it is a bit untrue, so I made some changes:
More seriously, I didn't set out to do a pure CHICK run, but as it happens most of the DIK options aren't very appealing. I do go to the bar with Tommy since he's clearly trying to bond with the MC there. I'd probably fight the DIKs in Episode 2 as well, if the MC's subsequent monologues didn't make it clear he didn't need to fight them to get away (despite what our lying eyes tell us). But that's about it.
OK, now am curious if anyone managed to resist taking that first option; i mean, with that face Heather is making it's impossible if just to piss her off even further.
I resisted it, except in the playthrough where I wanted to be the biggest DIK possible. I really do not find her appealing. Honestly, not all that fond of Sarah either, so with the option of looking at Heather, or enjoying the glory that is the anal-loving Mel, I mean.. c'mon, dude. I'm not glancing away from hot caraMel goodness.
I understand and don't judge if someone runs away from Caleb. Because you need to have nerves of steel or be a complete psycho to go against this mountain.

Oh don't worry!
Many years of experience handling it.
More seriously, BAD is one of the adult game where i'm so taken in the story, sceneplay and dialogues that I'm playing it 100% focused on the game and what it tells me of those characters.
But Tremolo is not. This is one of the main features and points of the character. He is quick to pick a fight and quick to make value judgments, but he is just as quick to learn from his more experienced friends.
I think there's a balance to be struck here between your own judgment and the fact that we're playing as an 18-19 year old kid. I, for example, made similar mistakes when I was his age.
But this is faulty logic. I would say that Neutral is the most "realistic" affinity. I don't make choices in BaDIK to get any particular affinity, because that would be silly for me. I make choices based on how I myself would act if I were Tremolo, including choices with bad consequences. Because obviously I'm not perfect and somewhere I could have stumbled or lost temper.
For the most part I (i.e. my Tremolo) am a massive DIK, but if the situation calls for it, he might let it slide so as not to cause trouble.

at that moment he was merely a problem for MC, a problem so annoying that it eventually drives him to want to drop out of college (one of the 5 dumbest scenes in the game)
so a negative person who at a particularly frustrating time for MC continues to pose aggressively, putting him back in his place doesn't strike me as an "odd" choice. the fact that he was also a victim matters up to a point, he did nothing for MC to feel empathy for him.
the choice to be sympathetic is there, but it presupposes a great deal of maturity that in real life I don't see so often
even with Tybalt the situation is similar, objectively MC is completely in the wrong, and for a stupid thing he did some real damage, but even then to have the cool head when faced with someone for whom you have nothing but negative feelings slapping you in the face and not reacting is a great act of maturity
Fighting Caleb is a fun/badass thing to do during a DIK run, but it’s absolutely a stupid thing to do.
There’s a reason why martial arts operates with different weight classes. Even if Caleb wasn’t an experienced fighter, his physical advantages over the MC makes it a no-contest if it wasn’t in a fictional setting.
All Caleb needs to do is to put the MC on the ground or grab any of either one of his limbs, and it’s all over.
I know that many consider "Being a DIK" a porn game, but I do not. To me, it's an adult game. Look at the affinity choices.
The DIK choices are more about adolescent behavior and the consequences that follow. Let's look at the example of the EP8 ending. How much did those playing on DIK think about their LI while the MC could only think fuck, fuck, fuck because consequences were looming. When you do stupid things, you can't be surprised who gets punished for it. Heather explains it best.
The weird thing about a CHICK run is that these decisions are usually the adult decisions. I've tried to make DIK decisions many times, but most of them just make no sense to me. Why would the MC hit Troy, the Jocks (Dawe excluded) or Caleb who did nothing to him at all. It just doesn't make any sense. Why would the MC make out with Jade. The trouble is actually bound to happen since we found out she was the Dean's wife. The list is so long. Heather explains it best.
Heather is a choleric hysteric and a bitch attidude, don't take her seriously. The most ironic thing is that she is dating the most Massive DIK in the frat, but she does not like this behavior at the same time (oh female logic and how can you understand?)
DIK's answer is of course very funny, but Neutral's answer seems to me the most reasonable and adequate. "Don't use us to start a fight and don't look at the behavior of other couples." The line Heather is using - a bad one, John Boy and Neutral MC explained it. But she reacted in a bitch - "Oink-Oink, YOU ARE NOT A MAN."
The reason why I don't like Heather's personality and I already mentioned it is shown in your examples.
You are right on the last one. We all play in our own way and perceive in our own way. Just my opinion about the CHICK game. For me it's boring.
You don't have to have nerves of steel or be a complete psycho to fight a mountain like Caleb. Even if his balls are small, they cause a huge pain when you step on them. Josy proved it with Tommy. It also made Dawe win his fight against Tommy.
There are actually two good reasons not to fight Caleb. First, Caleb didn't attack the MC himself. The second reason is also great. Tommy has never messed with Chad before and then he gets humiliated by Caleb. This lowers Tommy's standing because the MC has at least put Chad in his place already in EP3.
Hitting a man in the balls in a fight is very difficult. Defending this place in a fight is inherent to us on an instinctive level. The opponent should not expect such a blow, just such an opponent is Tommy, if he was "fly" to this place several times. He must be absent-minded when it comes to fights.
I have nothing against Tommy and do not consider him a bad person, so the second reason means nothing to me.

What DPC once wrote. We as players should play the MC as we would decide for ourselves. You write so that the MC (tremolo) is fast in combat. But that is your decision as a player. The same is true for the value judgments.
The balance has been created by DPC. The MC is way too mature for his age, which has come through his childhood experiences and deprivations. You can read all about it in the Zoey flashback of EP3 and in Interlude it is even confirmed. The MC only drops this trait of his when he is drunk or with characters where he feels comfortable. What does Tommy say in EP8. Only a drunk MC is a good MC. What does the MC say to Jill in EP5? That it's nice to be a jerk sometimes.

The whole scene is actually a great move by the MC when he agrees with Heather. The MC stands out from John and Tommy in a positive sense. He has the gentlemanly touch of JB, but in return, he's not afraid of Tommy like JB is. Yes, JB is afraid to speak his mind to Tommy. That's why JB later admonishes Jacob to look over his shoulder first when he mentions that the MC made out with Josy and Maya at the dorm party. Jacob found out from JB. That makes the MC better than JB and Tommy. That puts the MC higher up or above John and Tommy in the pecking order.
As for Heather herself, I can only write that Josy said to Maya in EP8 that she was temperamental but cool in her own right.
As for the second point, I agree with you. After all, it's the most vulnerable part of a man that immediately incapacitates him.

I'm already quite a maturing person in his late 20s. But in hindsight, I think it would have been a lot more fun to do more crazy shit to have something to laugh at years later.
I don't refuse to have sex with Quinn, beating Quinn at her own game is a matter of principle for me. I will never lose the CUM-petition!
My canon path in the game is not 100% DIK, I usually ditch Jade, don't always fight Tommy, choose nursing home because it's responsible for the frat and don't cheat on midterms in Ep8.
The way i see it that DIKs are in for the fucks and Chicks for the story.
Both got its charms but personally i'm drawn in for the story so Chick/Neutral are the ones for me.
Honestly i think there are more pirates online here who are secretly in this for the story. For example how many of you played Summer's Gone? Now thats a true blueball VN but damn so frikkin good.

No hate, it's just humor, take it easier. I myself have a CHICK save.
Blueball VN are not for me. Sex is an important ingredient in AVN, without it it's like food without salt.
