I actually think the opposite, for the exact same reasons. Past events have shown that Sage cannot, nor does she want to, forbid HoTs from attending parties with the DiKs even if they "undermine" Alphas parties. Also the only reason Caleb was able to destroy the DiKs mansion was because he wasn't an Alpha yet, so they exploited a loophole. That loophole is now gone since Caleb is officially an Alpha, and the ultimatum from the administration hasn't gone anywhere.
The same could be said about the DIKs. Both Derek and MC are now members of this fraternity and any negative actions towards the Alphas would have negative consequences for the rest of their fraternity. During the Christmas Party, the DIKs found a loophole in their mutual agreement between the DIKs and the Alphas. This means that the Alphas now have the upper hand in this regard, given that the DIKs have violated their own agreement with the Alphas. Therefore, the DIKs cannot afford to have another problem with them and on top of that, they have another problem with the Alphas thanks to the letters that certain Betas are sending them.

Hey,

That would literally make the situation worse and is not a good idea at all. It just further antagonises the Jocks which is not a good move here.

Right now it appears that the DIKs are antagonising the Jocks by sending them pictures of them doing things to them and with people they're in relationships with. We also had the campus pictures showing off their immature deeds and the DIK Christmas party literally was a middle finger to the Jocks by getting around the new arrangement. Of course we know it's not the DIKs sending the pictures, but with all of this combined, "standing in solidarity" with the DIKs at this point doesn't exactly make those doing so look good in a public perception sense and again would just further insense and antagonise the Jocks needlessly.
Yes. In my theory the Alphas become campus pariahs, so this tracks.

I think you are making a couple of assumptions that I think are incorrect.

First of all, there is no evidence to suggest that the rest of the campus knows about the letters to the Alphas. Since the DiKs didn't know about these until recently, why would the rest of the campus have any idea?

The pictures of the DiKs have nothing to do with this conflict, it is an attempt to humiliate the DiKs and actually makes them look like victims (you don't share nudes without consent).

The DiK xmas party didn't break any rules. The rule was that the HoTs will plan parties with both fraternities. DiKs planned the xmas party by themselves without input from the HoTs. As Sage said in the previous episode, she cannot forbid anyone from attending other parties. That was simply Dawe being an idiot and thinking Sage has mind control powers.

The difference between MC and Derek being members of the DiKs and Caleb being a member of the Alphas is that the Alphas are under Administrative supervision, so any rule breaking might result in their frat being dissolved.

The agreement was that the HoTs will plan parties with both fraternities.

The DiKs planned the xmas party by themselves, therefore they broke no rule. Just because half the HoTs decided to show up doesn't mean the DiKs broke the rules. Moreso, even if I'd agree that someone broke the rules, it would be the HoTs who showed up, since they agreed to attend the Alpha party. (To be clear I'm not saying that :))

The truth is that if DIKs are to have the same number of parties with HOTs as Jocks, then both Jocks and DIKs will have to create some rules for each other about who will party with whom and when. Maybe that's why Sage herself mentioned at the DIKs Halloween party that she would like to have a party where both DIKs and Jocks would be at the same time. A big party like New Year's was the perfect opportunity for such a move, and that's probably why Sage herself took advantage of it and held a party where both Jocks and DIKs were there.

Have you ever considered that Chad might leave the ALPHAs in Episode 12? He didn't move back into the ALPHA house in Episode 10. Then he has a physical altercation with Caleb. Through his conversation with the MC, he realizes that not everyone in the world is a homophobe. This could be the way for Chad and Troy to finally appear together in public.

I'm guessing that the green rectangular room is the main party hall that we've been seeing previews in?

Yes you are correct that they agreed on an equal amount of parties. But this was parties jointly planned with the HoTs. the DiKs can still throw parties as much as they like, just without the HoTs.

I think Sage only mentions this because of the stress of trying to balance the need to honor traditions (of partying with the Alphas) and what the HoTs actually want, which is to party with the DiKs. (I could be wrong of course).

Personally, I think having a party with both DiKs and Alphas would be a disaster, it's quite literally a powder keg waiting to explode. I just can't see those 2 frats coming together in any meaningful way at this point of the story. Perhaps once they find out who has been sending the letters they'll team up for Nerd hunt, but not before that.

It is precisely because Alphas and DIKs dislike each other, and Sage is aware of this, that she decided to have a party big enough so that neither DIKs nor Alphas would have to talk to each other and cause such big problems. I'm not saying that this will last long into the future, but it might work temporarily during the first such party. Then there is a possibility that the Alphas will find out who is really sending the blackmail letters and the problems between DIKs and Alphas will eventually be solved on their own.

So if you look a little pass Sage's right boob(yes there more in the render then Sage :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: ) you can see what looks like the floor to the room with MC, mel, Sarah, chad, ect is in. which one the main party room don't know
Just haven't seen anyone discuss it since we've had a better look at the environment.

Would make sense for that green rectangle to be the gym/hall.

The doorway that Sage is standing next to (leading into the gym), maybe connects these two rooms like so?

You might be right. I just don't think Sage would take such a massive risk just to keep Dawe happy.

And why only Dawe (and by extension, the Alphas)?
Because their parties suck. No one else will show up to them unless the HoTs are strong armed into going.

It might be funny to see the scenario where there is a "joint but separate" party between Alphas, DiKs and HoTs. With one side being DiKs partying with the campus and HoTs people and on the other side Alphas being miserable in their sausage party.

I think this might be the only scenario I could see happening, but it would do little to resolve any issues between the frats.
