Yeah Cammy even says "I did get a dial tone when calling her, so I know she's seen it."
I've always used the scrappy mod to check out variables that I don't necessarily care about doing a whole save spilt to see since episode 5/6 and I've never had any issues with crashes? Are they really that common with the mod? Or is it people are dumb and just don't know how to turn the right variable options on and off?

I know Cammy makes that point when he's sneaking around the preps mansion, that sometimes girls won't answer calls from specific people, but we never really get to know Mona that much. Even if you fuck her in the bathroom and interact as much as possible, she and MC aren't all that close. So I'd unfortunately lean towards no.

So whatever else was involved, he knew about her departure (unless that was just dropping her from some sort of "scholarship" program...), so it's plausible that she dropped out formally.

Well if you always use it, you shouldn't have a problem. As the mod sorta rectifies the issue. The problem happens if you have used it in the past and then play without it (which many will do come release as there probably won't be a mod the first 24-48 hours) DPC actually codes the game to check for the mod usage and forces crashes
