Oh it's absolutely the most rose-tinted, optimistic version where everything continues at the pace it is now, there's no unexpected issues or scope creep, and testing happens with haste. But it was still always presented as the earliest it theoretically could be done by (not that it was realistic). Summer 2026 is what I'm still assuming as the most likely, and think Autumn (so September onwards) is too pessimistic as an interpretation for how often it's brought up.

That's still absolutely stretching it. Yes all renders Could be done by April, but that doesn't mean the game is done by the, there's still the testing that needs doing that the last few times took two weeks. While yes we could still be in Apr here, we went through this exact discussion when 11 was coming to an end. DPC will not drop a game at the end of the month, he'd do it in May, likely the 1st or the 8th.

Optimism would be knowing he started in February, meaning it took him 7 months to get here the 50% point (while accepting that he maybe spent a month or two not fully committed to it, but saying that doesn't matter cause it will even out at the other end with testing) putting the very earliest we COULD get it 7 months from the middle of Oct or May....

I know it's absolutely stretching it, that's why it's the most absolutely rose-tinted scenario. I think May is also unlikely but I don't know if testing will be as long this time as there doesn't seem (from what we know) to be just as many branches this time around compared to Episode 11 where there's an entire holiday you can quite easily never see.

Honestly it would be quite interesting if for all the "baby daddy" stuff, Nora does actually stick to her guns in no longer being involved with the MC. Would be a contrast to the usual "I can't help myself" paths.

Yeah, I also think unexpected baby is possible given how obvious her baby lust is, that pregnancy is an acknowledged thing in this game, and it being a consequence of activities.

However I still think even then it could be more interesting if it's just she has a kid and it's kept as a sort of "biological father but not in their life" situation.

I think I found the conversation with Spock I was referring to, didn't misquote him too much

First and foremost would be the question of keeping it, which I'm positive Nora would want to keep it.

Then there's whether MC will be in the kid's life or not.

Her Swyper profile and our conversations with her tell me she isn't too concerned about having a husband in addition to a kid, unless I'm forgetting something. So if MC wanted to, he could walk away without relative issue. But if he did want to stay, then discussions of the future would arise, marriage and so forth.
