I don't think there is an abortion because I would practically lose the joke, just look at the faces of the guys who fucked Arieth

Somehow Dawe gets emotional and wants to be a good father.

The baby will born and if is black everyone will know that is Jacob's baby

and the lols that will come because of that

I feel bad for Quinn, the more we see of her past, the more it all makes sense.

Since she was very little, her dad has been grooming her to work in the drug business; don't trust anyone, don't let your guard down, always try to be 2 steps ahead of everyone else.

Although she seems tight with Riona, it's clear she's only trusting her out of necessity, and doesn't confide in her any more than she has to. Like her dad says:

Rox: "And even if you're forced to trust someone else... Keep them at arm's length without letting them know about it."

What kind of fucked up way to live is that?

And now her dad's gone (dead?) she has no one. Even Buddy, who seems to be running the show in Rox's absence, Quinn was told by her dad to keep "at arm's length".

Ultimately she's alone.

But with the mc it's different. She plays it tough, she tries to keep him at a distance emotionally, but he's getting to her. She wants to be close to him, she longs for it.

At first he was just another freshman for her to have fun with, screw with his mind and all that. But it didn't take long for him to start getting to her. Throughout the whole story she's been dropping her guard around him more and more, breaking her own rules, he actually makes her happy.

All the times Quinn let her guard down around the mc (not including episode 9).

And I don't think she's playing the long con, using him for some patsy for some scheme she's got going on - in episode 7, when he falls asleep on her bed, she cuddles up to him, just for a while. She longs for that intimacy she has been denied by her dad's teaching.

So yeah, her narcissism stems from her perpetual self preservation instilled in her from her dad, but a psychopath? I don't think so. Most of her unpleasant behaviour seems to be a cover, hiding her own vulnerability. But hopefully she'll learn, even if there is an inherent risk in letting people into your life, it makes life all the much better to live.

Of course, none of this is an excuse for her behaviour, just the reason for it. In real life, this is not the kind of woman to get involved with, you'll inevitably end up going down with her, or because of her. But it's porn game, and she's fun.

I don’t really see why this is any different to the previous 8 episodes. We’re going to be connected to all the character driven drama to some degree. Which annoys another group of critics who feel the game should be written in a way where if you aren’t on someone’s path you never see them again.

The core story of the game is essentially the drug dealing and the prostitution all revolving around Quinn. Every player will get more of MC’s mum, more of Jill’s sister, more of Bella’s husband, more of Sage’s dad, more Maya’s finances, more Josy and Tommy. You just won’t get the fuck scenes. The player will simply gain a greater insight when on that characters path. If you find this boring I’m not sure what you ever found interesting about the game.
I did find it interesting the first episodes, episode 1 to 7 takes a cheff kiss evrything felt really overwhelming because mc was with the pressure of trying to help evryone with their problems while Mc was having his own problems to dealth with while at the same time he was having problems of how he was feeling about the girls. All that combined gave a good feeling that you never wanted the episode end it thats what it draw me to the game until episode 8 and 9 that is now free roam simulator: halloween edition.
Now with the rush choice that we were forced to take in the previus episodes. Now it wont feel all that drama the same way because if you want to feel all the drama the same way you need to have a riddiculus amount of saves. So yeah its boring at it wont guve us that feeling that gave us in the first episodes.

So in essence you wanted the relationship drama not to hit a pivotal point of the MC's maturity ( From both his moral perspective and the chat he has at the table, where Elena basically hammers in that if he keeps playing the field, he'll hurt the people closest to him ) and keep causing the romance drama in the plot?

I can understand that desire to some point. But then the introduction to the MC's ex would not have any significant impact. The reason it was done like this is that now the MC has basically attached himself, emotionally, to a person, and the Ex-gf (Who he never broke up with) returns. So there's a new drama shifting. And going forward, it will most likely be more relationship drama, and choices to make between girls. But it'll mostly be around the love interest/Other girls and the Ex girlfriend, I believe.

Derek sleeping there about 1/3 of the time was not the reason it went off
I didn't say it was the reason it went off... Why would you assume the argument I was trying to make is that the light went off because Derek was there? That's like the farthest thing from what I said and doesnt even make sense for you to assume thats what I was trying to argue. What I did say is that it was fairly likely that Derek would be in his room when it went off considering Derek is in his room MORE THAN 1/3 of the day.
he's been sleeping there for 6 or 7 weeks so what is different to all these nights before when it did not light up?
No difference at all? I don't understand what you're getting at here? Do you think there has to be a purpose to every single thing in the world happens in relation to every other thing around it? It could have happened any night, any time of day in fact, but it happened that night and Derek happened to be there... It's not that unlikely at all. I was sitting at home on Monday and got a fire call that I needed to respond to. Why did it happen at that moment? I don't know, but it did because that's the way the world works... Why does the low battery light go off when Derek is sleeping in the room after the Halloween Party? Because that's the way it was written. Same reason why Ser Waymar Royce runs into an Other in the prologue of A Game of Thrones.
You're using an argument why he witnessed it, that by itself has no connection to anything happening with the detector...
No... No that's not what I was arguing at all. Why would I argue why he witnessed it? I don't need to. The battery was low so the light blinked and Derek happened to be there. There doesn't need to be a reason why he witnessed it, it was a coincidence, but not an unlikely coincidence at all.
So what makes more sense? The batteries running out exactly that moment or the fact the power was off that day?
Again, you act like "exactly that moment" is some significant unique moment. There were about 20 billion other moments exactly like it. Why are you acting like Derek said "Oh spirits of the night, if there is anyone spying on me please force them to reveal themselves" and then the light started blinking? That would be a highly unlikely event. The battery-operated camera in your room going off while you are in said room is not an unlikely event in the slightest.

In fact, I have a better question for you: if the light for the camera was going off because the electrical went out earlier in the day, why did it take so long for it to start going off? The power went out before Derek went to bed, but the light starts blinking after Derek is asleep, or at least attempting to sleep. Don't you think if it was related to the power turning off that it would be blinking since the power turned off? Don't you think Derek would have noticed that before getting into bed? But you think its less likely that the battery could have run out at any particular time?

I’m not sure getting to know characters over 8 episodes and 15+ hours of game play and then being asked to choose is a rushed decision. The choice was obviously going to have to happen eventually, perhaps he could have dragged it out for another episode or two and playing each path felt distinct enough. I guess if you’re only interested in one character then 3-4 hours of game after 7 months wouldn’t feel great.

I for one am glad a game/ story going into it’s fourth year of development doesn’t feel like it did in the first episode. The relationships have evolved and the story has developed. I can’t imagine anything more boring than after 8 episodes feeling like literally nothing you have done has mattered.

As for the free roam simulator business, I’d be truly surprised if we have another episode focussed around a single event. It’s possible episode 13 might be that way, so it has a similar feel to episode 5 and 9, but the Halloween party is something that was built up to for several episodes. Would have felt a bit flat IMO if it was Just one short free roam.

Any way I’ll leave it at that as we obviously disagree with each other.

I think she can still get out of it. The game didn't tell. But she probably haven't any police record yet. And the "prostitution" business, is something that she isn't the head, Burke is. Neither she is the head of the drug business. SHe is just a dealer, a small fry.

People like her can get away with it by giving information or testifying against them. These are the kind of people the police likes to use. Because they have something against them, but what they have against them is still minimal. She is a small fish. And she is discovering love. That will probably change her.

She as a first time offender wouldn't get a heavy penalty or anything. There are a lot of material to work on her case and I just wanna wait and see how DPC will work on it.

It played in the wrong place in the 9.0 version but if you play 9.1 I think It now plays at the end.
Really?! Thats so weird. Especially because the ending of the Christmas animation fits perfectly with the transition to the Tommy "jumpscare" at the beginning of the episode. If I had to guess, I'd say DPC had planned for the animation to be placed where it was all the way through release, and then before the patch ultimately decided that it was out of place and needed to be moved to the end.

Regardless, if it is set at the end of the episode in the newest patch then that is most likely a tease for next episode, however as I said before, it doesn't necessarily mean a time skip. In America, everyone celebrates Thanksgiving on the day, but the "Thanksgiving Season" is often outshined by the Christmas Season. At least a quarter (probably closer to half) of people start putting up Christmas decorations the day after Halloween, Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas" starts charting on the week of November 1st, and the Christmas super-shopping event "Black Friday" is the literal night of Thanksgiving considering a lot of people camp out for it (or at least used to, since online shopping has become a lot more popular).
I think as a European telling a story set in the US it would be very strange not to do a thanksgiving event. In most media out of the states, thanksgiving is given similar significance to Christmas, if not greater due to the non denominational nature of it.
Well, he could still have a Thanksgiving Event, in fact he should. If DPC truly knew his stuff and was making a realistic depiction of the American lifestyle, Episode 10 could take place in the first 2 weeks of November and consist of houses filled with a mix of Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations and a general Christmas feeling, and then Episode 11 could consist of the next 2 weeks including Thanksgiving, where MC spends the day with his dad and possibly the LI of his choice. Then episode 12 or whatever would continue the Christmas feeling. It would kind of damage idea of having a special "Christmas episode", but it would be realistic to the "American Holiday Season", which in reality lasts 2 months.

Only now i realized that in the broccoli scene with Quinn the couple making out in front of them are Jill s friends cheating lol, christ this game has so many hidden clues and scenes i have to watch everything closely.
Well, that also explains why you can't get that scene if you went to dinner with Jill (I'm pretty sure) or else MC would recognize them lol.

I think it's likely she gets herself through college by working at the Pink Rose and after graduating she will move to the other side of the country and start a new life... Burning all bridges, leaving everybody behind that know the Lily in college. Possibly she is getting feelings for MC, but for now she just warns him not to get attached to her. I think the warning itself says more about Lily's plans for life, either way it's a nice way of dropping the hint she is not looking for any commitment to MC.
Lily does say that she works at the Pink Rose for the money and that she wouldn't be in debt after collage like a certain someone, and that she is studying medicine. (so either a doctorate or a nurse)

No, there's a new version and it's linked on the front page. Seems like Scrappy has kind of given up in his war against DPC though lol. Mod has a lot less capabilities than previous versions (even beyond just picking a path) and his version of the mod has all the same bugs as the original .90 vanilla version of the game. I think he just wanted to put out an update so peoples saves don't break and leave it at that.

I think the Christmas thing is more likely a tease for the end of the season rather than the end of the next episode. That would then make sense putting it at the start of the episode (which is also the start of the season) rather than the end (when there's already cliffhangers with Derek finding the cam and depending on route Bella and Nick or M/J and DIKs).

You could be right plus if you consider the start screen it shows MC at Maya and Derek's so thats got to be Thanksgiving and if we got two holidays in one episode that would be a lot of ground to cover the episode would at the very least would have to be double the size of 9 I don't think that going to happen ( I hope) so maybe we get two episodes next year one for post Halloween, new classes, and thanksgiving. The other for finals and Christmas break

Yep, I think that you got that right. Next episode will adress the "spy camera" issue, and all the fronts opened by every LI ending (Bella being watched leaving by Nick, Tommy wanting to murder us after seing his stepsis leaving...etc)
