I'm enjoying all this discussion about the merits of the writing style but the fact is, this dev has a vision. 12 months of past armchair game designers has not swayed him, and I'm glad to see it.

I think when the game is fully developed, when its all said and done; both he and everyone is going to be glad he stuck to his vision, whatever that may be. Except if its futa or something, then I'm trashing this game nonstop lmaooo

Listen, while the game does have some things going for it, let's be honest... the writing is just mediocre plain and simple. The "writing style" is irrelevant. It reads like it was written by some teenager who gets all of their information and inspiration for anything erotic from reddit and your average porn videos. The character writing is especially drivel. Most of the characters radiate immaturity, and the male characters are mostly just low life creeps and scum that have zero tact. Quite a few of the characters feel like they have no purpose other than to be varying depictions of different types of creeps and dumb clichés.

As someone who reads a lot and understands good writing, I don't need to be a game designer, in an armchair or otherwise, to say any of this.

The visuals are really good, and I love the character models for the women. The dynamic between the MC and a few of the characters was nice as well, that I enjoyed. I couldn't get past the writing however, especially when it came down to any of the interactions with the other male characters, more-so the antagonistic ones. There was one male character that I didn't despise but... that's not enough to make me wanna read through it anymore.

IMO, devs should limit narration and internal monologues to 3 lines, maybe 4... a lot of narration can be replaced with visuals. Like, don't narrate to us that an LI is longing for MC's touch, show us through facial expressions and what not.

The other male characters are there for a specific purpose and it's obvious what. It would be nice if they had more character development other than, "Hi, can I watch her get naked?" These are things that could still be improved on in the future.

I hope the build up continues until one night, where its like, destined deflowering. And you can either keep her at home or encourage her to go over to his house. Like, MC is knowingly, undeniably, allowing another man :3

But I think even if MC does deflower Freya first, it should not lock anyone into a route. Rather, sharing can still be possible, as you say

Yeah sadly I've agreed with you - and if Dev reads these he shouldn't take that as harsh criticism, I enjoy what he does and he does many things well; the art is way above average, the character models are very attractive, and the posing and lighting is great, the shot direction is sound.

It feels like an engineer trying to do marketing, or vice versa. Almost like he should hire a writer and focus 100% on the artwork, ala "Do more of what you're good at and do less of what you're not good at".

Yeah I'm not a big fan of oversaturated inner-monologues either, but I was more-so talking about the quality of the writing in general. It's definitely not the worst writing I've seen, there's way worse out there... but it was below average in my opinion. When it comes to AVN's, especially when it comes to netorase/sharing ones, if the writing isn't at least above average, I usually don't enjoy it.

The visuals are really freaking good too, and I honestly think this game has so much potential. With good writing, especially improved character writing, this would probably be one of my favorite games, at least top 20. That's just me though, I see some people really enjoy the game and that's fine. I'm just someone who really values writing in games and when it comes to story driven games, it's really important for what I'm reading to not make me internally cringe or get bored, otherwise I'd rather just read something else.

True, and having played the latest update (not currently available on f95) I can confidently say it was WELL WORTH THE WAIT!
This developer has earned my confidence. I'll gladly wait 2 months if it means quality over quantity.

Great game, played it once didn't like it. Tried it again can't stop playing. Very good, looking forward for more updates.
