If you don't get why something like this or other Japanese classics like Ichi the Killer, Mezzo Forte, Battle Royale, things that explore disturbing themes within a certain context don't adhere to "market data" and "surveys" and stand on their artistic merit, you really are just obtuse.

OK. I see where you misunderstood what I said. I never said people should stop asking for build-a-bear games, but I see people comment on these older Japanese VNs, which gave rise to the genre everyone is aping now, and they don't understand the context. It's a delivery vehicle for a narrative, like a movie or a comic book. And then it gets posted on one of these sites and people start asking shit like "Is there NTR?" or "Can you skip this?" and it's like, can you familiarize yourself with the historical context of this work? It's like if someone posted Dumas on a forum and someone was like, can I get an abridged version? It's like, do you even understand what it is you're reading? Or people who complain about censorship in Japanese games in every single thread. I just have automatic responses and they've tended to get snarkier cuz it's the same questions and responses like people can't read what people have said before them, talkless of familiarizing themselves with the context in which work was developed.
Then you come in talking about paint drying and market surveys for a work that was made to be a narrative in a medium that was primarily used as a delivery vehicle for either fixed narratives or narratives with some choice, and are applying a derivative context as if that was the context in which this work was developed.
I was not digging at build-a-bear games, I use the tag system like everyone else. But when people come into these threads of older VNs and start asking dumb questions that ignore the context of these works, it's easiest to just put them down quickly to dissuade others from polluting the threads with redundancy.

All of those things you stated are in the tags. I guess I get asking if they're avoidable, which is reasonable, but like I said, people come in threads and start a chain of complaining about tags they don't like and derail them. It's less of an issue now since moderation is a lot stricter about it, but the best way to head it off used to be to just tell people to fuck off, honestly. I didn't do that so much here as make a sly remark, but still, the tags are all there. If there are so many offensive tags it's probably a safe assumption that they're not avoidable.
It's genre defining because it really pushed the hentai horror genre while having very high quality illustration and a good plot. I mean, isn't being popular genre-defining in and of itself? I'm sure other good erotic horror VNs were to some degree influenced by this one's success, like School Days or Euphoria for example. Like people call WoW genre-defining, moreso than even EverQuest, Ultima Online, and Neverwinter Nights even though they came before it and did the MMORPG genre justice. It wasn't until WoW became a phenomenon that the genre exploded with new entries.

The free version of Daemon Tools had been pretty sh!tty for the past few years (or probably longer). I personally suggest using a better alternative like Virtual CloneDrive for mounting ISOs. Despite not being updated for several years now, this mounting tool remains perfect it what it does, even in Windows 10.
Yep, haven't used Daemon Tools in years, I mostly use WinCDEmu now. CloneDrive looks good too, haven't tried it though.

Thank god, I have been avoiding bible black hentai for a so many years because of one or the other reasons. For some time I knew it existed as a game but now that I entered the H-game scene(its only been a few months, its sad I never knew H-gmaes and western sex games existed before that and I think its deliberately like that, acting as a gateway for people and the internet doesn't want it to gain popularity reason being said content) its a payoff for waiting and playing the game.
