but seriously, i understand that the game will be on hold for a long time or may not even continue in development because of the new patreon rules; what i dont understand is the NEW PATREON RULES, can someone please explain it in brief or is there a forum for that as well?

So Patreon has been cracking down on incest games since the end of Last year.
A lot of very popular games were hit (But not BB) and people made workarounds where the relations were changed to stepsister, room mates etc. with a patch hosted on a different site that would then restore the game in it's full incest glory.
Unfortunately, Patreon caught on to that and this time around they included BB and again banned some of the previous offenders.
They would not accept any excuses or workarounds. All relations like step, aunt etc. would be banned.
Furthermore they basically told DS that he could not use any funding from Patreon to fund anything to do with BB even if it's on a different server or website.
They would not unban his Patreon unless all mention of BB was scrubbed from the page, and made certain that he could not continue any version of BB via Patreon, unless it was completely rewritten to removed any smidgen of incest or perceived incest via distant relations.
If they found any suspicion that he was using Patreon for BB, even if hosted on a different server, they would ban his account again.
Another Developer that have been hit as well, is Mr Dots with Dating my Daughter. He is pursuing a different method to try resolve this, but is not getting any money for February.
DS actually has staff to pay as well as other expenses, so not getting paid for February was not an option. He had to appease Patreon and that is why we now have Glamour.
