Nope. He was around 2800 when the site was brought back, and made the announcement he will put hold to BB and a couple days later he was at ~2200, thus losing ~20% of his patrons.
A few days later, when 0.13 was released he was around 2100 and... he has lost ~15 since. You said you're checking every day, you should know these.

He was at 2900 before Patreon took his page down...
By the time it came back many already knew he was abandoning it and canceled their Patreonage.
And by the second which is after the billing email and his email about the ON HOLD came out more soon followed in their cancellation.

So he lost quite a few people over this BB thing and there may still be plenty of people who used throwaway porn email accounts to hide the fact they bought porn that have yet to check those emails to see that they are paying for something else right now and not the game they decided to support.

Something to note however is how many of his $40 patreons he lost. The page no longer shows how many of each tier he has pledging.

It is about the money. He just could have taken Big Brother to his personal website and just keep on working on it. The reason for the lecture is you seem to dismiss those that don't just look at the pictures and instead are into the roleplay.
Most guys don't want to roleplay a woman. And it really doesn't matter what the pictures are or how hot they might look because no one is going to want to roleplay the scenes it takes to GET to the pictures.

Second, in more serious note, what will really take down his patron numbers is the wait. By the time the early grinding with perhaps-a-peek-of-boobs in the bathroom is over there will be months. That will take down the patron numbers as they will tune out, and re-pledge in like 6 months after there's more than just two hot chicks lying in swimsuits by the pool or the MC watching Aunt Kira's porn or Alice's vlog.

Going for both male \ female = double the work! Instead of 6 months, it will be 9-12 months. That means the game will die out because of inactivity.
Out of the 34% that say they want both, a chunck would walk out because of the slow progress, so would a big chunk of us in the 66%. If he goes with just one gender he would keep more of his patrons.

Check the announcements: The first release would just be barebones; perhaps even just the house without the University! How many do you think will stick around for that?
