worse is the fact, that BB had almost 90% more downloads , as glamour has ......maybe iam wrong but .. which MALE player, would play a game where u have to play a Female char, and get nailed from males ?i doubt that the game devs of glamour realy used there brain at all...they clearly can see the stuff for themselfs at there donor list.. who is magicaly lost a lot of donors, since announcement of glamour ..

IMO MMC vs FMC isn't the reason. The reason is Glamour sucks.
Take a look at Japanese games. The vast majority are FMC.
Eh, they're as bad as each other really, but Glamour edges out based upon the DRM and the far slower rate of development.
Same kind of grinding, similar illusion(s) of choice/player agency, and it spent way too long behind online-only DRM. The latter definitely hurt it and DS's patron numbers more than the abandonment of BB (despite statements made to the contrary before and after 0.13 released).
IIRC, patron numbers rose some after the start of Offline versions (0.9 onward I think) and then, too quickly in my opinion, beginning the remake of BB in Glamour.

What really surprised me was the vote on offline versions - I expected Patrons to vote heavily for it, but it came in 3rd out of 4 options, IIRC. His hate of pirates (who are the majority of his patrons, IMO) is astounding, and leads him into some bad decisions.
I'd guess that the majority of patrons at the time, are like the majority of people who are ignorant about piracy. They hear about it, and believe the bs that companies and media tells them, despite all the evidence against their view.
Those who would have bumped the vote up in favour of the Offline versions had probably already stopped being patrons by that point.
"Indie" Devs adding drm to their porn games are more idiotic and arguably more anti-consumer than the mainstream "AAA" publishers. They're relying more on the ignorance of an older and/or less computer literate audience, who also happen to be more easily appeased by the pretty pictures and care less about the overall quality of a game when it comes to the actual "game" part.

This one is still for me, quality-wise, the best porn game available. I'm going to start it all over again, without cheats, I know it's slow and Eric is a nuisance and I may end up rage quitting but I kinda miss it all, the characters, beautiful renders, plot and dialogues.
Glamour does nothing for me even playing as Max, so little content and dialogue system is horrific. Also why they've made Max's dick smaller?

Good Balls, this is my kinda game. Too bad I couldn't enjoy 'cause eric content is sort and the creep unemployed good for nothing trash MC keeps messing up in peeping. Seriously, the game should've been about Eric hoarding the women.

Ironically, Eric is the reason I couldn't get into this game as much as the rest of you.
It just felt wholly unrealistic.
Mother concerned for son who appears to be doing nothing - fine, this is normal.
Mother gets new boyfriend and seems happier - also fine.
Mother takes lots of D from new boyfriend and takes the D over her own biological children - this is NOT fine. Some "mother".
There's gaping holes in Eric's "proof" but Ann doesn't see them. Anyone with a brain would know what's happening.
Eric is threatened by Max and this is why he completely convinces Ann to send Max to Military School in the space of one to two weeks just so he can have his harem. What a pathetic little manchild. Alice must be blind too. New guy in house starts buying her nice things for no reason other than that he wanted to appear to care. It was too much, too quickly. And then sets about being a father-figure. Or a counsellor or something else that would give her access to Alice at any time. This didn't seem unusual to her or Ann?
The other reason Eric wants Max out of the house is so there'll be nobody around to protect Lisa. See? He's threatened by Max's very existence.
I don't mind him fucking Ann. I draw the line where he starts trying to worm his way into her DAUGHTERS' pants.
The guy needed to be arrested but I guess I can be happy knowing that he was abducted (and either mutilated or killed) by the guys that came looking for him.
Eric was NOT a well-written antagonist. Just someone who is fundamentally unlikable.

Whilst true, the main problem is how quickly it all happens, even to the point of if you have Max taking the "friends" route with Eric, she happily lets her son (whom she knows has sexual feelings to all the women in the household) watch her being dominated by him, in next to no time.
It's less that he's poorly written, and more (as I say above) how quickly things happen.
When comparing how long it takes Max to get beyond Kira popping his cherry to anyone else, it's the equivalent of a juiced-up sprinter racing a one-legged pensioner in the 100m Sprint.
If things with Eric had progressed at a much slower rate, it would've been easier for more people to deal with, on a psychological level. Then again, this is also a game where any woman who sees "Max's magic meat" instantly starts having feelings of wanting to ride it like it's a championship bucking bronco.

I was seriously thinking about playing this since its considered legendary in the F95 community, as well as being referenced in other games ive played. BUT, after seeing that it's not completed or being updated and even worse, abandoned, I guess I can't. Because if I ended up really getting into the story, and since theres no conclusion, i'd feel story blue balled. Oh well. Glad to see alot of people have enjoyed it for what it is though and its a shame the dev decided to ignore it.
