Why is anyone paying attention to polywog? Obvious troll is obvious...

I think most of the discussion here is how people view the game or want the game to be. Eric and Max are at the will of DS. Trying to second guess DS is hard enough to do logically. Throwing your own morality into the fray will not change the game. We have to remember that DS is a master advertising. He uses his images as lures to get keep you hanging then when the new version comes out they were little more than smokescreens and what little content you get is just enough to lure to wait for the next update. If I were to name this game it would be called Bait and Switch.
That depends on your choices. Remember Kira also has Max tied down. The entire set of scenes suggest it is not rape. However, as noted rape by max is a game choice
Lisa is a minor so while you paint Eric as a great guy, he is committing at least 1 crime, actually 2 since Kira does say he blackmailed her sex. Eric also lies about the money in his wallet so add theft from Max.
Neither are good people, but with max you actually decide how bad. Most interesting version for me is Lisa gf, so my Max is just a kid with a huge crush on sister. Not even that unusual.

I was going to say are we nearly there yet but thought twice. Anyway Im still hibernating.
DS said Eric is antagonist and max is protagonist on a pm with me lol. At this point there is two mc tho. DS just claims it that way for some reason. Still a bad story tbh not much than a bunch of manga I read already bunched together.
It's interesting to discuss, and see others opinions. Polywog started it though, with his troll/bait post.
Looking at this post again, fun fact: antagonist doesn't mean "bad guy" it just means the enemy of the main character.

Boths are idiots. They are not bad only idiots. Max because he is too stupid to use his cameras to spy on his girls and give his mom anonym some video material from Eric fucking Aunt, and Eric because of his behaviour the whole game.
I think Eric is the essence of the game, he makes everything more interesting

At first I thought it could be interesting. But now, I don't. The game will do fine without him, at least in my playthrough. Each to his own, which is a good thing.

Me too Lord Otterman!! I thought I was playing a fantasy porn game [i.e. 'fantasy' = not real] so when I read about "Max doing this" or "Eric doing that" and how one is right or the other is wrong, it makes me shake my head that people get so caught up in fantasy that it starts to distort real life somehow...
