But for a Patreon developed game, you get input into actual development that you would NEVER get on a AAA commercial game. And given the NSFW nature of what we see here, you would NEVER see that in say a game on Steam.

Just passing by, but when reading some of the posts people made here, it really makes me question how different these people are than in real life. I have to admit that some of the things posted are pretty disturbing.

Still emotional. Almost every erotic developer is doing the same so it's like 75% for those who can't make it even with polls which basically means its nothing important when it comes for game's success. It's not bad if you're not overdoing it. As a social marketing study it's valuable and gives you a lot of infos. But if you are changing whole game into hundreds of players vision it will always become dull at the end. You're assuming they wouldn't make it without playerbase opinions and to some point I can agree tho is obvious that especially in porn gaming industry they would be still successful without it. Quality can defend itself. My personal taste doesn't matter. If the game is good I can appreciate that without falling into extreme even if I'm not the target for it. It must be hard for a talented developer such as DS to find some valuable, not-biased opinions when most of the playerbase is focused on their urges. EA is meh. I pref Blizzard when it comes to mainstream.

Many of the votes were during V4 and V5. I said it did because of the time it took to get Ero Mass, only getting to mass mom a bit. V6 Gave Max much more action with Mom. Saying the game grinds your gears does not mean you hate it. at least not for me. When I hate a game I ignore it completely.
wow these last few pages were a bit hard to get through. Well, the entire thread is hard to get through. Its become nothing but blueball betamale fueled rage. People here seriously need to rethink their attitudes and quit taking their impotence out on others. Comments got bad at times when making adult skyrim and fallout3 mods but damn this shit is on a whole other level of virgin angst. You never saw a 400 page thread entirely devoted to hating on a mod and developer over there.
Ive probably said this before but i didnt quit this game because of a hate for eric, yes i hate him but thats the point youre supposed to hate him. I quit playing after 4 because i realized that their wasnt enough content and because of that eric was op as hell and the mechanics were completely unbalanced. Thats usually the problem with games that use stats instead of dialogue choices for direction but if you give them time they usually workout. All this game needed was time and things would have gone a better route. I get the feeling that thanks to a small group of really loud and obnoxious people instead of good writing and a solid progression we got a rushed quick fix "get rid of eric free card" and an equally rushed incest story. I cant say what happened for sure but i remember following the comments on patreon daily after 4 and it was pretty much one person who overnight with its release went from super fan to virulent asshole gathering pitchforks and torches calling for a burning at the stake because he had the patience of a hungry infant and couldnt wait a couple months or take the time to downgrade his pledge like a normal person till the game was more complete. Everybody needs to calm their tits. Opinions are fine we all get to have one but that doesnt make you right, myself included. Has DS made mistakes yes it has but that doesn't excuse the lonely guy fapper mafia that has been forming into a lynch mob against it. At this point with the way things have been it looks like its a choice between making the game as it was originally intended, i hope this one, or continue to cave and bow to harassment and hate. I think either way this game or its developer arent goin away anytime soon, thankfully, and neither are the profits. I look to the bright side and hope that maybe sites like this and talented developers like DS can come together and change the community and get it out of the shadows and away from this patreon nonsense and masseffect 3 ending style of player bitching and developer kowtowing.

hey darksiler, just posting to ask, i know you dislike the piracy, thats understandable ofcourse,but how do you feel about people modding your game? ie adding new images or cheats and events?
The grind on this game (having to even WAIT through weeks to get the next Dialogue Option you triggered) make replaying this game from the start a non-starter.
He has developed Content that exists and a good game design allows a through path that will let you see all of it.
Have the police show up asking about Eric's whereabouts after his disappearance. Apparently Eric is wanted for questioning for various crimes.

I came here not to stop piracy, it's just a stupid idea.
I came to read quite opposite position to understand what people like and what they dislike mostly. Because on my patron I have a people who likes game mostly, but very little of people who dislike it.
Of course it way too late to change plot story, but I still want to have a feedback to understand what is working good and what is working not so good as planned.
However, I still do not support piracy for _my_ games
What? Did i miss something? 80% don't like BB? I don't have this impression.

Imho, I would have probably have more influence on a early access game on steam if active with feedback, testing and suggestion. With the "tier" you need to do on Patreon to remotely have any influence, the number of AAA games you could bought would gone up considerable.
If it was all about a fap'able NSFW, I would gotten my rocks off way better just logon to my gaming community's slack and the NSFW channal there (and would cost me nothing). If more "in your face" NSFW stuff is what you after, Avenger deliver that cheap with Big Kuyash and Son of a bitch.
For me the story and setting got greater value and inpact than the images and scenes. The later should just be a support for the narrative imho. If there is little progress I tend to lose interest. I been Patreon of DS a few months and then stopped, not because the game is terrible, but because I feelt I paid to much for what I got back in term of value. I might do Patreon a month or two again in the future, but nothing really keep me from get a copy meanwhile, and I got no real bad conscience because of it.

One of the main issues I've seen here (and have too
) is that Max don't use his hidden cameras beside making money at all. It would obviously require a lot of work to create extra visuals for each scene but in some cases Max could get some needed information with it.Also, he can expand his hacking skills and intercept his girls communications, he gave Lisa special sim-card after all.
Some people (me too) were sad when rumors came that you're going to complete game at 1.0 version - the story can be much bigger that you will be able to do in two-three months
I personally also would like if Max slowly turned to be more courteous to his girls - after getting laid he should be smarter.
There are some hints that never was continued, like Kira's videos (including one during arrest) or story about Max's math teacher
that's wise, i was a patron for 3 months, even got to the 40$ bracket once and ditched it, because it's not going the way i expected and i seem to be a minority for the whole eric route
booth is working, the kinda NTR route with eric and the harem route without him
but the game did a bullshit route with stopping eric content for the last updates and going full vanilla harem incest. i don't like the opportunity getting rid of him completely, i think the anti-viagra pill was kinda better idea to keep him in check.
it was an interesting story and gameplay, now it's like clicking through porn. atm i don't even play anymore, just extracting the images and browse through them after an update.
i'm still hoping for more keeping eric content. an enemy route, in which you can build your harem and "cuck" eric (or he cucks you if you are playing wrong) and a bro route were he is kind of your mentor and gives you play
that was what i expected after 0.3/0.4 and then there was the 180° in story progress.

Which also means it doesn't exist in the game. Perhaps it would have been better to wait to insert him until some of that was available.
First off I will point out none of that was available until people railed against Eric being there in the first place...
And not a single thing you mentioned had to do with Max getting any sex which is kind of the point of playing a sex game. If I wanted a game that was just AVOID THE OBSTACLE then I would spend the $40 on Doom or Mass Effect and get a AAA experience.
The bottom line is Eric contributes nothing to Max's sex life other than peeking...
MAYBE three versions from now DS adds something but you know what? Too late for ME! I already got rid of him because he served no purpose other than to make you grind and get off mission and I sure am not going to play through from the start again just for the few dozen rendered pics Eric may provide in the future.
