I can understand the reasoning behind this, but a game like this would never get made through the conventional process. Or if it did, it wouldn't be the game it is now. DS clearly had something different in mind when he started it. It's certainly not worth $40 a month to me, but the amount I do contribute towards it is worth the orgasm or two it gives me with each update.

Depends. If I had a job making $100k or more a year, doing $20 to $40 isn't a big deal. Only big deal is I was raised to value goods, not goods in progress. Honestly, I have played plenty of games that were high quality and didn't use patreon or kickstarter, or any other service like them. The only catch is time to make. People get on patreon hoping they can quit a normal job and go full tilt game developer. The problem is a lot of them lose interest in being a full time developer, which causes a lot of problems. If they keep a job and work on it in their spare time, it is a hobby, not a job, and when their hobby produces a finished product and they make a decent amount of cash off it, then they should be able to decide if they want to be an actual developer.
I don't know DS's background in that regard, but too many patreon folks have stopped without a finished product, while many non patreon folks have made phenomenal games. I wish I could remember a few, but since coming to this site, my memory is a bit blurred due to the sheer amount of patreon backed games on this site leaving me a bit confused on which is or is not a patreon backed game. The only difference between patreon and non patreon is time to make a finished product, and for many, satisfaction. Growing up, I wanted to be an archaeologist. I got to college, started taking my first classes in it, and realized my dream since childhood was really not what I thought it would be like. I went to work on a degree in IT afterwards. I feel this is what happens to many patreon folks who want to make their first real game.

And as for orgasms, this game doesn't really do much for me in that regard. Sex scenes are too short, and the lack of visual stimuli, save for a freaky looking, discolored dick, kinda ruins many of the scenes. What keeps me going is the promises of the future content to come and the quality of the rest of the game.

Part of the problem is the dialogue is so generic and lifeless that we have no choice but to use our imagination heavily to put any sexiness or feelings in the game. Which is why one person sees something in an interaction that others don't see.
As as for having bad choices in a game....Of course there needs to be bad choices and consequences otherwise it's just a click through. But at the end of the consequences should be a solution that lets you redeem yourself and get the content you lost for making the bad decision.
This is afterall an Adventure/RPG game not an Arcade game where you miss shooting the ship you just die and start over.
Imagine an adventure game that had a few hallways you could enter but never leave?
Would anyone really replay that game or would they just move on to one that doesn't FORCE you to make a save every three steps you take JUST IN CASE you hit that dead end hallway?
That is pretty much why I don't buy into the notion that dead ends spur replayability...
All it spurs is massive save slots being used which makes the hardest part of the game trying to keep all the saves organized so you know which one is which.
You misunderstand, I'm not raising issue with the fact that you never get to see Lisa naked, I'm raising the fact that in this specific scenario she says will show you her breast and the image you get is her covering her breast with her hand, which seems a little counterintuitive.
Why can't a game or novel have both content and great sex pictures? I kept seeing ppl post that a porn game should only have sex and less story or great content .. I don't see any reason why we can't have both.

Its interesting to see how he overcome this , the shopping with family is one great step , but his recent post of on the future of the game show give some insight on how he is faring as the more he try to erode the incest resistance barriers to real feelings through events and gameplay reaching the harem ending , the more ppl will take it he's trying to milk them. As most of them just wanna see sex scenes with Ann and Lisa , even if it means the cupboard drop on their heads and they wake up strangely just wanting to screw Max.

As you said, incest doesn't typically just happen. DS's main fault in this regard was in not considering that romance could be a possible way it happened. For the most part, I appreciate the slow build and teasing until we finally get Ann and Lisa. But I do hope he does something special with their scenes to make them spectacular. I don't care about animation, or anything like that. I just want more text, maybe more renders, and for it to otherwise last more than a few clicks.
