Yeah, but again, the Eric stuff was so badly implemented in general from almost the very beginning that being on Patreon where you have to keep your fans at least marginally happy, it was set up to fail. Had the Eric friend route given some Netorase oppotunities where there was actual quid pro quo, then that could have helped, or had Eric not been a goddamned super-god with the entire family falling under his sway unless you played PERFECTLY, then that could have helped too. I still say, had Eric been in the game from Day 1, as a step-dad/boyfriend, a lot of grief could have been avoided.Yeah, well, the only decisions player had were Eric's routes (friend/enemy) and Lisa's paths (plenty of dialog options in early days). All these choices were implemented early and they still exist even tho they lead nowhere. In my opinion that's one of the reasons why BB was so succesfull and is still doing well - early game still looks like what it was meant to be, giving some illusion of replayablity and decisions. Eric's friendly path was slaughtered and I doubt it will lead anywhere in a future so the most important decision we had doesn't exist. Lisa's paths will merge with Olivia's route so they will go as well. As much as I respect DS for programming skill and fine renders for me BB is the greatest example of terrible design right now and I have no real hopes for it. But that's an important lesson for him and other devs what can happen with gameplay if you change your whole design midway of development. I still hold an opinion that initial idea would sell better if it was polished during 0.4-0.5 and could reward different players in appriopriate way.
