Sorry man, believe me, I (and most of us) seem to know how super frustrating this game is.

- Bugs galore. Manhole cover doesn't work. Mission 3 crashes at end/Mission 4 crashes on start (hopefully that was fixed in the dev's update). I got stuck in a tree.

- No save, meaning you gotta start over if you encounter one of these things.

- Crappy level design. Seriously, it's basically the same three places over and over. Backtracking SUCKS and is super lazy. And the fog and rain in the forest area make it nearly impossible to find your way around. Key items aren't exactly easy to find, and the actual game's mission isn't really intuitive either. I pity players who are just starting to play this.

I'd echo the last poster. I know it sucks, and I have my own reservations about the devs (and I'm gonna complain freely). However, I'll also say it's rather inhumane to wish them ill; after all, we're getting the game for free. And while they're actually making money via Patreon, a 2-person team isn't much to work with. I'd also say that, out of worry for your own well-being, maybe play another game or take a break from this one. All gamers know what raging feels like, and you gotta find some sort of cathartic release, otherwise that stress and frustration is gonna eat you alive.

If it helps, check out the codes posted a page or two back. Some of them make the game easier with more drops and ammo storage. We also really need a walkthrough. It honestly should be on the dev, given how they're mostly focused on aesthetics and mechanics rather than the gamer experience (exploding heads and dodge mechanics are fun, but not when it takes 7 months to implement, and not when issues like bugs and tedious level design make the game un-fun).
Seriously i love the game though aside from the bugs and the negative things you mentioned like backtracking and frustrating game design.

I love the gore, i love the aesthetics, i really want this game to suceed and become better but the reason i get so angry is because i like this game and i want to play it and beat it, but if the game fucks that up with bugs i'm even madder than when it was a crappy game i didn't like.

I wouldn't get too mad, it's just a shitty jerkoff game made by hacks who use people's horny to get enough money to get by. The genius brains on these people added a dodge mechanic but forgot to add a cooldown to the charge those invincible one-hit kill big guys have so you have to dodge them repeatedly while trying to kill the bulletsponge boner zombies.

Honestly, just delete the game, buy an Illusion game and get better quality sex, better looking virtual ladies and you don't have to put up with hacknied design decision by people who really don't care about game design. Just push a button and you'll get a lovingly crafted blowjob from a high poly model that was designed by someone who at least has a basic understanding of human anatomy.

TL;DR: Don't worry about this game. It isn't worth the effort.
I highly disagree.

Illusion games are boring AF and that is an understatement. The looks are horrible still. The engine they made / the physics / charachter animation/movement is still circa AD 2006 style.

Bioasshard has so much potential to become such a fucking awesome game.

As a Resident Evil fan you can see the love for that series oozing out of this game.

Those that used to play Resident Evil 4 can confirm, how wonderful it feels like to have a Resident Evil 4 like experience with a sexy twist.

Thanks anyway. Mega doesn't seem to work for me any more. I appreciate your help though
The version number of that file is the exact one i used with which all these bugs occured.

So is there a new version or not or did the dev change things but didn't number it appropriately ?

I can't play a new game or play full content. Is it normal ?
Yes

The dev didn't change the version number for his fix

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I think the game is actually coming along nicely in certain ways. The devs improved many things since the beginning. This release alone has CQC/physical kill system, a dodge ability, two new missions (albeit just the same rehashed areas but with frustrating mission demands), exploding heads, "improved" jiggle physics, and improved physics (e.g. the zombies can't hit you by swiping at air). Aesthetically, the game is excellent. It visually looks sorta like a Skyrim modder's paradise, but in a genre that many, many gamers want yet is the only one of its kind (a functional and developing 3rd person shooter RE game).

I think my gripe is that the bugs and level design are huge problems. And the slow, slow pacing is another, since we have to wait about half a year per update, meaning this game will literally be finished (if ever) in 2024 or so. Yes, I've known from the beginning that the devs are a two-person team. It's understandable, but it doesn't mean that that's not a problem. And as much as I think getting a foundation for the game set up (e.g. mechanics) is essential, I think the devs would be wise to give the community what it wants - more anims/enemies/characters/items, as well as a virtually bug-free and frustration-free (due to level design and lack of a save system) playthrough - rather than focus on the visuals. As I, and you, have said before, if I have to start over and waste hours of my life due to those aforementioned problems, I'd be pissed no matter how good the game was.

3 month since last update and they were lazy to put a *ducking* saving system in? The arena has 4 mission now all of them are super long. If they don't put any saving probability in the next patch I'm done paying for them.
They kinda said quite a few times that the save system would be implemented after all the basic mechanics, to avoid having to fix it up everytime they add new things.

THANK YOU SO MUCH !

That solved it !

Holy hell this games "puzzles" are so unintuitive. The plates and shards or whatever have you are not noticable AT ALL. All you can do is be lucky you move in the right spot to see the pick up prompt appear.

Hey dev, ever heard of that trick that game dev use to make shit intuitive ? LIKE IN FUCKING RESIDENT EVIL 4 ? BY FUCKING MAKE A SHINING LIGHT APPEAR AROUND THE ITEM !

And damn there is another huge bug. For one of the shards in the basement in mission 2 you can reach the "shard" because it is up on a table like thing and the move space just is blocked somehow. WTF dev. Just WTF

Also that damn box you put the shards into WTFFFFFF.

It's sooo unoticable and the ingame "helper" / when pressing M , instead of saying find the shards to activate the exit, it just say go to the exit without fucking mentioning that you need to find shards and put them into that box.

Seriously wtf is wrong with this dev.
Where do you find the shards down there and most importantly the box? I found 3 shard. The dog/zombie drop one (I don't know what dropped it), the table one on the end and the cieling one. But where is the box?

Mission 4 is the biggest amount of bullshit I've ever experienced as purposeful game design. To complete it you need to get 3 fuse thingies, then go all the way down the longest spiral stairwell imaginable (btw one of the fuse thingies is down its own spiral stairwell) then turn on the elevator (You cant ride it cuz fuck you). THEN YOU NEED TO SHOOT FUCKING INVINCIBLE BARRICADES SO THE GREEN LIGHT THINGY SHINES THROUGH ALL THE OTHER PYLONS... WHAT THE FUCK. All of that without any hints of what you're supposed to do OR WHERE TO FIND THESE FUSE THINGIES IN THIS HUGE ASS MAP IT TOOK ME 2 FUCKING HOURS. Wonderful. Seriously fuck these devs.

It doesn't need a cooldown, it already has a trigger condition.

Honestly, only illusion game that's ever drawn me in somewhat is the Artificial Academy series. Its unfortunate that, at least so far, it seems Koikatsu might basically be replacing it, though I REALLY hope we get an AA3 at some point in the future with some big gameplay improvements. If I wanted to just play a sex simulator, I'd just go watch porn honestly lol.

Are you sure you are old enough to be on this forum?

This definitely has a lot of good points in it. Having prior knowledge of certain levels, the game REALLY isn't bad at all, its just how ridiculously frustrating it can be when you don't know where certain key items are, and they aren't really placed in a way at times that is obvious to the eye or well led to. Though, the biggest issue still for sure is when you have to leave/game crashes and you lose all your progress back to the start of that mission, which in the cases of mission 2, and ESPECIALLY 4 the first time you play it, is pretty painful. Frankly, I hope they just do more things like the start of mission 1, or mission one in general as a whole minus the forest area is pretty good. The sewer survival bit is fun with the new added mechanics, and the mansion overall while not great, is actually pretty fun in terms of how its laid out. I'd say mission 2 would be similar... but the poor placement of certain items, and the manhole being near uninteractable if you don't view and stand at just the right angle REALLY make it a pain to play through.

The heavy action pacing in three, and it being a generally more focused level where you just get to toy around with the mechanics (minus the really annoying hidden zombie, or general hidden zombies you have to kill to progress) is really shaping up, and in all honesty, I'd just be happy with this becoming something of a "Mercenaries" but lewd game, with more focus on action than a lot of the more survival/puzzle elements. Even Mission 4, for as poor a first play it can be, has some really cool ideas in it. I like the light puzzle overall, even if its nothing too indepth or makes you really think, its still a neat little experience, especially getting to go through the caves in a way where you can see where you came from, and where you are going. Interconnectedness in general is always fun, and at least when it comes to older resident evils with shortcuts and the like, is a huge thing, so I'd honestly love for them to somewhat focus on or include elements such as those in the future.

The two biggest suggestions I could give though going forward into the future, or things I'd just like them to think about really is either having someone join for free just to test the builds before they come out, since their PC doesn't seem capable of doing so, to help ease a lot of what are relatively easy bugs to find. Would really smooth over peoples frustrations a lot frankly, even with it being basically alpha, the combination of bugs/crashes and no checkpoint save system being implemented (save for on death) really hurts the game and just makes it feel like a waste of time to play at times, same with just how much running there can be in certain areas of the game.

The other thing is they REALLY need to think about just the kind of scope they want for this game. I'm all up for them still adding a male protag and female enemies for said protag, and even multiple female/male protags in general, but I feel they should at least, before doing so, finish up what they have now and make a releasable game for 'not Jill', then move onto focusing on expansions with other characters, or just other games for them entirely. They'd have much of the basics already done by the time they finish one, so they could simply focus on polishing future experiences, and I think it'd make for overall better products then them simply trying to shove everything into a single game, as with as small a team as they have it'd simply take way too long, or require too many compromises imo.

Regardless, I think the game has done a lot to move in the right direction, and is pretty niche in itself since its basically catering to RE fans of the over the shoulder titles, but that niche aspect of it, and hell, the fact that its even a third person shooter with some sort of lewd/pornish aspect to it at all in terms of gameplay is a VERY rare thing. The closest thing I can think of to this is the Left 4 Dead pardy/inspired one where you play as a male protag, which usually just doesn't work for me in a game, plus the added fact it has gore/guro really killed my hopes for that game. I'm just hoping to see this project succeed down the line, and quite frankly I think that visually its fine right now with some small tune ups, so the more they focus on gameplay/polish from here on out, and of course animations, the better, really curious to see what they are planning to add on to the sex attack system and what animations that will require as that's something they mentioned before.

There is an updated post with a fixed version that doesn't crash on mission 3. If its not on here, which I think it has been updated by now, you can find it on their blog/patreon or just download from the new links they provide there.

At least they added two fully new maps for mission 3/4, but yeah, I could do with NEVER seeing the forest stage ever again. Genuinely if they focus on more linear stages, like RE5/6 are all about, they'd solve a lot of their issues, and definitely focus more on the action side like in mission 3 as opposed to anything else. This game style shines best with tense/overwhelming amounts of enemies in general, and giving you a myriad of ways to handle those situations as RE4-6 are basically just about crowd control.

Speaking of walkthroughs though, I'd be all up for writing one or even videoing one if my rig allows for it, and enough people really are interested. I've played enough to at least know where the key items all are now.

Another game which was pixels and Biohazard Progeny had a system where you could just have enemies do sex attacks; tbh everything takes too damn long, you have to strip her as well. The first level is just boring and saves should be far more often just due to the nature of the game crashing, which I had occur and made me quite annoyed.
I don't even know how to acquire the handgun, some of the objects I can interact with is glitched and what does the fox card do exactly? Nothing is stated (Where the hell do you get the handgun as well?).

Its the first thing you see in Mission 1. Just tilt your camera down a bit to see it

Its right at the start of the game. Will say, a lot of objects tend to require you to at least look somewhere in their general direction to interact with them. Used to much more jankier, with the exception of the manhole, which is impossibly janky in mission 2 trying to interact with it.

As for the card, type in the full code in caps, including the - into the code prompt that you can access from the title screen. It should give you access to customize the character/name, and allow you to unlock the unlockables to further customize her.
