That is so far from the point, 2 people is not an excuse for taking a WHOLE YEAR to make one SINGLE level. For fucks sake, D-lis, the absolute unit that made https://f95zone.to/threads/night-of-revenge-v1-0-6-mlt-d-lis.52284/ took 4 years. Worked on the game ALONE, the coding, the artwork, the story, literally everything was made by them; in the same 4 years, VersusX has done barely anything outside of giving us a bunch of animations (two? three? on a kind of boring boss tbh). As well as like 3 new levels now, the first two levels have been in the game for a long ass time now.

It's almost like we're forced to wait a year for an update, because that's how long it takes for them to work on one. Of course people aren't going to appreciate how little there was in the update, it feels exactly like an update from Eromancer.

Also the engine is different so different problems they encounters, i'm not even defending VersusX but by comparing like this is just bullsheet on so many levels. Just so you know dummies, Bioasshard run on Unreal Engine 4 - full 3D real time, with real compile graphic pipeline like Shadow cache, lightning, etc... While Night Of The Witch Revenge run on Unity and being a 2.5D Side Scroller, mean lesser 3D effects they need to worry about. Not to mention D-list devs had already succeeded developing their first game is Bullet Requiem so they literally already have balance codes and assets to reuse in Night Of The Witch Revenge, and even with all that it still cost 4 Years to develop that game, just so you know Game Dev is not something you can say: " Hey let put this, let code this out of thin air and it will be perfect with no bug or problems ". Your whining should be spent for those who work on long run Visual Novel Renpy with ultra laziness not these dudes. Or maybe you wanna be a genius and help them with coding and optimizing an already troublesome engine ?

I seen a couple posts mentioning having to start over after installing the newest update, I didn't. I just overwrote the previous version with this one and picked up where I left off. The only thing I needed was one of the backer ranks shared, so I could customize Julia. Highest rank someone was nice enough to share the code for so far was the "Fox" rank. I input the code and was good to go. All hairstyles and outfits. Assuming I shared the right file, this should be everything unlocked.

What is this BUGG. After tireless playing this tedious level and got soft-locked due to this glitch. I have already collected all 4 circular key but the last one still wont let me put in. Did the developer even test the game before they release it?

Theres 5 medallions 1 of them is different and does nothing you probably picked up that one.

D-lis is as "professional" a dev as Versusx is. And D-lis is 1 guy vs 2 at Versusx.

There is a fake red mechanism, look for a blue one. I've been stuck here for some time too.

No inventory areas are dumb I don't feel they add something to the game unless it's a way to teach a player to use Item Box. Item Box is uncomfortable to navigate and use too. Hope to see some improvements there, new level is short, boring and has annoying infinite spawns. Overall once more this game gets updated with less content than expected in a year. Good thing I'm not a patron.

Overall, the update is good, I liked it. But one thing is very annoying - fucking dogs. One bite takes away a lot of health, in dark places without a flashlight they are almost invisible. When you can shoot with a gun - it's not a problem. Problems start when you don't have a gun. Hand-to-hand blows in half of the cases pass by, if they hit, they cannot be finished off.
And there are a lot of these bastards there.
It would be better to add new monsters.

Has anyone run into a missing fuse bug or something? Because i have walked around every room, top to bottom like 3 times and i dont seem to find it.

The new mission tedious part is to literally drop every items to inventory 1 by 1. Comes to think of it, if there is a button to "strip" naked and place her clothes with holster on a specific spot so she can enter and come back and take her weapon later on will be quite useful.

This mission also features lots of soft-locks since you can't dispose of items you can get easily stuck between empty inventory hallways.

I am not sure the intension of putting inventory. It should be a "feature" not a necessity. It should only be used when the player wants it and not because they need for solving puzzle. There should be instances where inventory feature can be completely avoided. Maybe he purposely make it so we can test the inventory mechanic. Instead of forcing user use the inventory:

1. Enable Julia / Jill to stip naked and drop her holster/bag and her clothes at that specific spot which contains all her item there. Then when she comes around she just have to pick up 1 time and all her bag content back.
- Immediately strip naked made her vulnerable to high physical damage which increase difficulty.
- It enable player to drop weapon at any area they like such as infront of a metal detector which make them convenient as now it is too tedious and annoying when we clear all the enemy in a room with a metal detector with zombies and go to the next room just to store her weapon and return only to find out the enemy is revived.
2. Story item I don't think is necessary to be detected by metal detector. If there is the point of the puzzle, maybe make an option for her to stun the zombie and hide the story item and lure them pass through the metal detector and kill it since they already implemented a zombie respawn for whatever reason.
3. Of course, discard item is mandatory since metal detector is implemented. There is possible to have soft-lock at the area where she picked up item from a zombie that have no inventory.
4. And why her melee attack has no effect on dogs? When she kicks it turns out the dog is too short for her roundhouse kick and it is not stunned neither despite being attacked.
I am not sure if the developer is reading the discussion here but I am say my thought anyway. Anyone of you are welcomed to forward the review to him.

Hello, just found out about this game today, so I'm not aware of the latest news BUT, i've just found a link to the newest version (v. 0.6.438) on dev's blog. I downloaded the link via the public version v. 0.6.438, but saw the same version in a patreon post.

Is there any difference between these two ? If not, could we update the OP with the new ver ?

Dunno if what I wrote is understandable, as english isn't my primary language.
