Ok, this blackmail is just strange...like what is the big deal here ?
They are blackmailed that the MC has sex with his friends wife, with consent of all partys...yet seeing how he, or others if you don't go along with the blackmail, react is just weird.
Why should anyone care about that to that degree or that this ruins their lifes, i don't get it. At best they would get a some stares from the more conservative neighbours or colleagues, who cares...
The MC honestly feels more like a protaganist in a netorare story with how he always acts.
And i kind of hoped that we actually 'steal' or cuck the other husbands, but this seems more like everyone is giving their consent first, asking the MC to do their wifes, which is kind of a downer.

It's Japan. They have a weird culture with this stuff. You get caught cheating on your wife and depending on social circumstance and how notorious it ends up being it could literally cost you your job. I know that sounds like a total exaggeration but silly shit like that happens all the time there.
I do agree with the whole wife stealing thing but I do think we're getting there. MC's buddy told him it's not cheating as long as they're only breeding. So if MC fucks her for any reason other than having a baby then it is cheating. So while she's pregnant sleeping with her would be wife stealing. There's a netorase to netorare pipeline, where a consensual swinging agreement breaks down from the heroine having sex outside the confines on the agreement. Maybe without the hubby's knowledge, or specifically without his permission. I haven't played the new update yet but I think that's the route we're going on that woman.

Read a first few page i don't really get this site it been this long why not made individual tag as Netorare, netori or netorase it would save lots of problem for once people would just stop asking is netori or netorare like you came in the thread but hate ntr see netorare tag you just close it end of story that would save people lots of times tbh ( mind you i'm not talk about this game since title is dead give away in this case )

I mean, the whole point is that there is no cheating so far, the whole thing is a agreement under friends.
Which is why i find the blackmail so...nonsensical, same for MC's reaction to it, as if they did something wrong, for which they could be blackmailed for.
Now i'm not sure about the norms in japan, but i'm sure there are things like open relationships, polyamorous relationships, swingers etc, or you are getting blackmailed for that too ?
Well yeah, that is likely how it will progress. I would just prefer if the MC would do it without any consent of the husband and the husband not getting off on it (if that is what really happend in the last update).

Depends mostly on what your job is. Think about it this way, if it turned out that a US politician had 3 wives then there popularity would spike among probably about 15-20% of the population and everyone else would turn on them hard. Most CEOs would be removed by their board if it came out that they had 3 wives. It's not about whether it's loving open and consenting, it's about how it looks to the general public, as well as potential investors, customers and voters. In a country that's even more conservative about sex this starts applying to a lot more than just politicians and business leaders. If you're in a position where people are going to recognize you by your job then you're in a position where your private life could impact that job.
Lastly it'd be incredibly humiliating to his friend were he publicly outed as impotent or infertile or w/e his jam was. It'd also be very humiliating to his wife if it had gotten out that she's infertile. That's really private medical info by any cultural standard, but especially in a country like Japan. So even if MC's in a relatively fortunate position where this wouldn't impact him it would potentially hurt the people he cares for.

What will that planned harem tag look like? Will it be a separate route or one of those classic 'better play through every single route to get the one you want' shabangers.

WinteryEdge Is/will the lesbian stuff be avoidable? (i.e. will this actually be harem, or is it just poly/lesbian sharing, with one dude.)
Honestly, I'm planning for multiple (different) "harem" scenarios.
Without spoiling too much, I intend for it to be a little different from the usual harem scenarios in VNs.
I intend for one of them to be as a hidden ending, the player has to strategically discover.
But yeah, it will vary.

I would suggest making it avoidable in the capacity that you can actually have a complete harem-only route, in what I assume you want to be primarily a harem game.

I didn't say they had even close to a decent definition, but it does eliminate netori from the equation. I'm just glad they finally stopped using the 3 letter word after 100 years of their own stubbornness.
So isn't it that the 'jealousy' supposed to be a feeling that the MC doesn't necessarily feel but you the player? Because you the player identify as the MC in these games. It's why people have no problem watching porn, but will feel 'possessive' when playing a porn game where a non-MC fucks the girl even if the MC doesn't know but you the player do.
No, the player feeling jealousy is completely irrelevant. Otherwise netori would actually be netorare any time the player identified with the victim and felt jealous on their behalf. Not to mention the player feeling jealousy is too subjective to tag over.
For example there's that NTR Sword Art Online game that's been going around. I hate Kirito with a passion, I'd never feel jealous seeing him be cucked, but him getting cucked would still absolutely be NTR. Tags like that account for the character's reaction, not the player's.
