Currently doing 2nd playthrough with low SEN, does the scene with RRH at the Brothel in Ludwitdge (Grimm goes mad, dresses her as Alice and chokes her) impact anything besides gallery completion? (like does she stop being interactable afterwards or something?)
Also paying really close attention to SP progression (want to avoid Jack/Holmes killing Marie), so I'm exploring as much as possible before crossing any fog walls. Anything there I might risk getting locked out of? (like something happens only at a certain SP in areas I wouldn't think of re-checking?) (I have read the post about the basic SP progression, just wondering if there are any details or storypoints)
Thanks to anyone who can help :)
Well, let's just say if you reach enough progression w/o reaching a certain tower will cause one NPC to kill a lotta heroines.

Yeah, already knew about that and managed to avoid it in my 1st run too. (It was one of the most emphathized points in the SP guide :p )
Thanks though :D

I have to say, I'm surprised the devs passed on an easy easter egg opportunity:
When in the slaughterhouse at low Sen, on of the bodies on the meathooks could have been Alice's

Just a curious question:
I'm pretty much stat capped, does my damage still increase when I do inflict said debuffs on myself?
No, you can check your stats in battle through the equip menu. They will update with buffs and you see they don't increase even once buffed. Once you have maxed out stat, the only way to increase your damage is through weakpoint exploit, resistances, and debuffing enemy defense.

It doesn't affect anything other than the gallery.
As for things to go back for, Blackwell doesn't sell items at the cathedral until 5+ progression and she goes insane at 10 progression. She doesn't sell anything unique there, besides her blood vials, but you do need to talk to her at the cathedral to get her letter she leaves behind after she goes insane.

Right, about the letter: Am I dumb for not finding Florence? The Tweedles mention her too and say she transformed. Is she still in the ward? Or just referenced to but we never see her? And, if the letter has to do with Florence interactions, do we have to let Blackwell go mad, and if we kill or imprison her before that we're locked out of it?

Florence is in dlc 3, it's impossible to miss her. You need blackwell's letter if you want her dream spirit. On the other hand, you can't get her soul if you do that.

What in the absolute flying fuck was that absolute acid-trip of a moon experience??? Did I just see a mythochondria (the cell's energy plant) (is that the reference? :p)
Are the numbers added to Sen randomized or specific? The "drop-mp-to-0" effect is the same as the black goat ring, so does it have anything to do with black-goat-chan?

First time playing it and I'm shocked how good this game is but I have 2 things I have a problem with.

Is there any option to make text in combat slower? I can't read any of the enemies actions. Right now it lasts only about half a second.

Also what does SEN mean? Sanity? I've noticed I can see hard horror enemies and I can't talk to NPCs with low SEN. Is there any reason to drop SEN low?

I've been searching hundreds of levels just for one thing......So that I could crush a strong HELLKAISERRRRR!!!! I finally got him and I'm so strong and trained sooooooo much I think that I could take him. The problem is when I try to break his special move, that seems to trigger something else. Should I just not break him or put my guard up all the way and weather it?

Just use the "Requiem" skill when it's on its 3rd-ish action. It will stay active for 4 turns, and if you abuse bonus rounds and rabbit clocks you can keep it active basically throughout the fight :p
Unless I've missed something, I don't think it has a move to remove it.

Thanks buddy. You were right. Explains why Gun Break didn't work. Even with my high defense he must have struck over a dozen blows against me. Requiem was the only thing that could save me. I love that one message he left for me. Made me want to hunt him down again. BUT WHAT was with leaving me three purple souls!!!!???? This was supposed to be the fight of the century!!

Edit: THE ONIMUSHA removed my requiem!!!!

Edit2: The cg collection room said to go to the spore forest without progress. How? And I never even met the serpent god.

Edit3: I'm trying to get RRH's ending. I know that I need all the fairy tales but does it matter if I imprison most of them?

Yeah, not sure why Helldrake doesn't give more. What message are you talking about? Am I just not remembering it, or did I miss it?
Also stuck with the Onimusha, that last phase's last attack is some major BS :p

I think you can get there on 0 SP by ignoring the boss in the crash chamber and going straight to the blood swamp and from there to Mushroom forest. The serpent god is in the Cathedral with lizard Bill :)

I don't think the fairy tales affect endings, I think they just give a gallery scene? But I think you just get fairy tales from companions after they die.

I know I need to kill those 3 top nightmare foes( Bandersnatch....etc.) But what about let's say Griffy, Red Queen, or the twins before one kills the other?
