The game should give you the option to tell her to change into the red one. They both look similar to me. Didn’t think the red one was the smutty dress. Thought it was a third one

I have yet to find a renpy game that it doesn't do something with.
It doesn't always do the same function the same way with all games or even certain updates within the same game, but it will do some function. Whether or not its the function you want it to do, is for you the user to decide.
And if that doesn't do what you want it to do there's always unren.

If you start a new game using 15.30, you can give her the dress then save.
if you then load from the latest release (at time of OP is 15.472) that save you should not have this problem.
Sometimes this works 30%-45% or so.
Alternatively when playing 15.30 or earlier you obtain the red dress save and not give it to her,

Then just sometimes nothing works. So there's RNG of code failure in play.

Dets...? Get specific man... Can't help with just its broke? What is broke about it? How are you going about it to see if it is broke?
What are you doing? What event? How are you doing the event? Have you done all the prerequisite events? Did you edit any code in someway or add a mod?

I know it's a test version and probably the bug will be fixed in the final version, but I wanted to give it a try

It is the same game. That link was the old MOD thread which is no longer updated. This thread is now the updated version as it is now a remake as I replacing all the old renders etc.

BadBobbySaga_DarkPath-0.15.472-win_compressed loads fine. Yes, the cruncher app was left in, but that doesn't affect anything. Just tested it and works here. I also downloaded it when it came out, so 12/8.
