Damn, was looking forward to it tbh. Either it was smacked down by Nintendo or STAR pulled a fast one on patrons.

Considering just HOW BADLY optimized the game was, to the point of basically being unplayable on my computer, I am somehow not that surprised to see the game suddenly dead. Great art, decent writing, but man oh man did the gameplay and technical aspects have issues. I will admit to being sad about this though, it might have been great if the coding had been improved to not be ass.

Everyone Hello my dear supporters and BHS fans. I knew this day could come one day but I didn't think this early and not in this way.... You might have already noticed but my Patreon page was taken down. No chance to even react as it happened instantly. As an average earner this is way too high to pay off. I'm not sure if it's ok to tell the exact amount publicly so I'd better not. I don't want to piss them of any further. They are really not happy about this entire project... If you ever encounter some1 developing a similar game as mine with earnings, please tell him to stop. Nothing good will come out of it... So what are the plans for the future now? Well, I'm literally broke when I pay off the fee. Maybe even in debt... I'll have to see how I come up with the money. However I'll try to nicely ask them to lower the fee. If I'm lucky I might have just to pay them the money I earned from Patreon. If not... then I have to try to stabilize my finances first. Nevertheless I was never some1 to give up easily so I'll definitely return to the stage. I'm not sure when and in what way but my it's not over yet!



Everyone Lastly, I'm going to compensate every Patron befitting by his Tier and amount of pledges. I still need to handle and think about a bunch of stuff so please be patient. Once I clean up this whole mess I'll be back with more information. This Discord server is the only way to notify you right now. Important: Unfortunately I don't have any way to look up the Patrons anymore. Please leave screenshots of your pledges in the #helping-spot section. Otherwise I can't give you your rewards. I believe StarParty's page said that this is a fan-made creation. It was a parody. They didnt hide anything. Parody should be an exception to copyrights, right? Or does it must say "parody"? If Starparty need help, maybe we can support them? I looked for Samus parody and thats why I supported their work. If it wouldnt be a parody, I wouldnt support them.

I hope it is not true.

I guess you´re right but who has the money to go to court with a mutli-billion company to determine whether you´re sex game (that´s what it is) is a parody or not ?
The chances are nonexistent.

Nevertheless i hope the developer will find a way and that we´ll hear from him again.

(Obligatory "I am not a lawyer," but) That depends on a lot on a whole host of things (where the lawsuit is taking place, disclaimers and their prominence, how close the details are to a "real" game, whether it's monetized or not, and so on), but the most important part is whether or not you can afford to fight the case, even if you're entirely in the right. I'm pretty sure this is a lost cause even if they did have the cash to fight the case though, considering the similarities and the monetization.

Ah well. Going to miss this. Thought the game showed promise, and Samus' art was pretty cute. Shame that it's probably too late to palette-swap the CG's and Find & Replace most of the names.

Edit: Fuck me dude, thinking about this a little more makes it super scary. AM2R? It got released, then slapped. Pokemon Uranium? Same thing. Project M too, although that was being constantly updated. They acted extremely quickly this time, looks like Nintendo didn't even want to take a chance with a porn parody. That being said, anyone happen to know how far this could go? Like, what about popular fan artists making 18+ content? Any clues would be appreciated. Really curious about this topic.
