Got a bad feeling about this. Shame that the patch notes are so vague and the discord won't allow non-supporters to know what exactly this means.
I have paid for the lowest tier, only 21 bucks for a year, to figure this out. From what I've seen so far, dormant traits simply are traits they might be able to pass on but don't phyiscally show. As for the essence and other things, dunno, haven't gotten in too far

they're completely broken this time. I did the save edit update thing and now wild ones don't spawn due to changes in how they're generated.
on the upside incest doesn't crash the game anymore.
Note on essence:
It seems you need a nephelym with at least D's in all stats to increase it the first time. I imagine that 2 would need C's in all stats and so on.

I swear at this rate Ill end up dropping BotN for real if things keep this stupidly grindy. And this time I really want to fukin dev to know cause this is now getting beyond absurd. doesn't seem to work what you're saying, I've got a Nephelym with B in fertility, Libido and Aptitude
and the message I get: no nephelym meet the requirement. But I guess since my nephelym is just level 1,
I might need an higher level to make it work

I managed to get some of the cheats (not all, they are kinda broken and even if they show as working they don't work) going so this took out the grinding part but things like fucking your own children doesn't work always and some sex scenes can and will break the game for you.
Currently having the issue trying to get some hybrids in which as soon as they appear they will crash the game and it doesn't matter if it's in the ranch or in the wild they seem to just crash the game.

Probably cause the dev is slowly trying to remove cheats so people are forced to deal with the grind, cause his soulslike-fan mentality think that everyone MUST deal with that bullshit, liking it or not.
You see, I've been patient with BotN for long enough but it's becoming truly unreliable to play this game in the current situation on the newest versions. So I dont care about UI overhauls, progression reworks or even new breeding mecanics, is not worth having to redo it all just to have a couple of extra features.
