Bright Lord 1.0 (rework) is out! Reworked 0.1 and 0.2. Around 600 new renders Both episodes are merged now The game size went from a total of 8 GB to 2 GB. For now, the game is available for tier 4 patrons. Tommorow tier 3 will get access too.

well, according to dev it will be leaked today. Lets see if it's true. Most of the games in the forum gets leaks at the lower range support. but hey, maybe there is a rich dubai dude running around and sharing avn everywhere. Stranger things had happened before so who knows

How did the size go down after the rework isn't quality improvement generally supposed to increase size? Also I saw each phase is round 4 GBs but both of them merged will be 2 GBs? Has the quality taken some hits or just a lot better compression and the same quality? Damn I'm soo confused lol

Can be as something as simple as PNG to WEBP, AViF, better compression, better video encoding, etc. Just because something is smaller doesn't means it's worse.How did the size go down after the rework isn't quality improvement generally supposed to increase size? I see, I'm a complete noob in these things so I don't know shit. I was just using a common man brain. But i'm shocked to see a 8gb game shrink to just 2 GB? Dev must be good if there is no loss in quality.

There are some games that would were 11-20GB or more and were using PNG/JPG and switched to WEBP and the size went down by 75% with no loss in quality.
Compression of 85% i think.
