I've played the update, and yes it's done a complete 180 on the beginning story, with other random things thrown in, but despite that, this is only the first update to the main story (since the initial 0.1 release), i'd be lying if i said i'm not disappointed with this update, but it happens, and still going to give the dev the benefit of the doubt and wait for a few more updates to the game, and hopefully somewhere in that time it will get back on track, or at the very least have some indication of where what happened in this update fits in to the story (relevance). So fingers crossed the next few updates shed some light on this update.

Just keep clicking through. Luna says the line at the end of the last part, you get a fade out, and then the game continues with the update. Also, since this is an experimental update, it's possible there will be more code added to more smoothly transition to the new content.

And furthermore that increases the likelihood that developers burn out within a few updates from not knowing how to actually progress their 4d chess porno plot and consequently delaying, redoing, remaking, eventually abandoning the games.

Not to mention that people in these post-pandemic days especially are desperate to jump on any hype train whether online or elsewhere. And in crowdfunded cg porn land that attitude has reached its conclusion it seems. There's a culture of expecting every game to *eventually* turn out like the greatest piece of content ever with no basis in reality like a design plan or release target. If that gets some devs thinking they're the next Wachowski brothers the users themselves are to blame.

I thought that a couple times as well, I enjoyed it mostly. Didn't like some of the scenes not being there anymore, but as I understand they are coming back later. Only thing that really bothered me was the punch. I agree with what someone said about a spanking being in order, but not a punch.

Ok so, I played the update. Didn't experience any bugs, but honestly, I'm not feeling this story.

The ending felt dramatic for the purpose of shock value, it didn't really vibe with the rest of the story, and the overall characterization of Luna is all over the place (which sorta makes sense for a rebellious teenager, but still felt off). Apparently the ending changes depending on the choice you make and neither dialogue really makes sense to me.

The shoehorning in of the junkie wasn't that interesting either.

Overall, this update felt really forced trying to change the story in a way that doesn't seem to make sense. It's got a bad case of Cerberus Syndrome I think.

Back before 1.5 had come out, I said I'd be spanking Luna. The punch felt completely out of place. That was just abusive, not kinky at all.

Well this is going downhill fast...really wtf was this update.
No choice to decline to fuck some random girl in a toilet, fucking that junky/runaway girl, again no choice...
Luna looks like a trailer trash slut and is completely insufferable imo.
Actually i just wanted to kick her ass out the car and go back to the family, she wants to play gang, sure let her i really don't care.
That punching scene was just bad, can't we just leave and say fuck it. Punching her wasn't even satisfying, as the MC just goes 'oh what have i done', i really don't feel bad for punching her thought...

And now being shot, involved with the mob, playing hobby psychologist for junkies..thats way besids being a teacher and family focused like the game implied.

ps. didn't the MC say in the psychologist session at the start, that he never cheated on his wife ? Luna saying he fucks young girls doesn't really make sense.

Edit: I know this was stil in experimental state, but this just feels like a completly different game/direction.
And to have a choice with whom u want to get involved with, is bare minimum imo. To be forced in sex with random sluts/junkies is just a big no, same goes for LI's (romantic/sexual), like Luna for example .

same here after the hit with the bat and than looking at luna she have may be looking good in the past but damn how can someone make himself so ugly with so much tattoos and then the behaviour... just walk away and let her clean up her own mess... i dont like forced characters especially when i dont find them attractive (look or personaly wise) but i can overlook a few thinks when it helps the story and keeps it good (like quinn in beeing a dik) but this story arc did have the opposite effect the combination of unlikable character dumb story unnaccesary scenes (which where forced) killed the game and enjoyment totally...

Um.... the prologue setup a decent looking school story to begin with... then it went off to a side story... now it's doing a complete left turn into nowhereville into a mafia story? Isn't it kinda early to be veering off course? and the scenes, just feel so random... I'm sure there's a method to this madness... not sure I want to bother delving further into it...

I am sorry. It was my mistake. It seems that the Zorin OS decompression program has a bug. Unzipping with unrar through the terminal everything works fine.
