Actually even using it here can be trouble. Patreon watches sites like this. One way around is to have a different modder put it there (or use a different account to do so so it looks like someone else, LOL.)

How free is too free? We want to help and to fuck, conquer, and truly be alive yet also not be evil. But when does the piper's bill come due? When does it blow up in our collective face or destroy the ones we care about? After all, decisions have consequences. That's how it all works, right? And yet MC's faustianesque journey, even when he's knocked down, drives him to grow and increasingly accept his more primal aspects. It's an inversion of most philosophical conceptions of human development, yet it strangely works here. It's like a left-hand path (ascension through transgression) tale wrapped in contrarian threads of empathy, authority, paternalism, and responsibility; So odd and gripping.

Even though the story's extreme situations are happening at a fantastical hentai-like pace, it sufficiently evokes the necessary emotions to pull it off. The women around him are (very sexy) vehicles to his self-actualization in contravention to societal expectations. The true conflict, beyond the situational and character-arc issues could be seen as occultic: 'Know thyself' mixed in with the nietzschean 'will to power'. Both of which conflict with the (seemingly) true antagonist of this tale - his conscience, best summed up in the maxim 'primum non nocere' (first, do no harm). His attempt to do no harm is what got the story going in the first place - rejecting a suicidal student's advances. I'm enjoying this ride.

I can't tell if this reads more like a rough draft of a dissertation for a Doctorate in Porn VNs or a submission on toxic masculinity to a Gender Studies journal.

Crazy thing is this game has AMAZING CHOICES at very important moments. Like you get the choice to let your daughter have a lesbian relationship and "share" her or you can tell her to cut that shit out and take her for yourself. You can have your wife be dominant, submissive or just regular. With most girls you have to option to either go hard on the flirting or keep them at arms length. Additionally from what i have seen none of the above choices split the game up in significant routes, which is positive since we don't end up with something like three games in one.

Then the dev completely misses the ball, by not giving us those awesome choices at moments where it's incredibly obvious one should. Fucking a gas station slut while you have massive issues to deal with regarding your niece. Fucking a crack whore which honestly felt more like rape to me than anything. Dude didn't even bother to check her age.

Dude, all his daughters look underage and they are all love interests in the game, their age is not mentioned as well and they are around since the first version. Most girls in high school are below 18 irl, I think her age is hardly relevant, it's already mostly obvious they are underage, if this bothers you I'd suggest you to skip playing this game. She's one of the oldest looking girl between the younger girls.

Rape is a huge stretch, the girl asked for sex because she was freaking out with the possibility of the black dude being a spy from her family, the whole situation was explained in the game, can't see how that's rape

But I agree with the point about his niece, I think the dev started overcomplicating the story beyond it should, the game was a story about a teacher that is dealing with past trauma, and starts over in a new job teaching kids from powerful people, while dealing with some family issues and dynamics. Now turns out the niece is involved with some mafia style shit, he got shot, and in the middle of all this shit he helps a unknown girl that has a crazy family and that you probably could make a whole game dedicated only to her story.

But I did like the twins ministory, this was more like I was expecting

TBH if he keeps on this path he will lose most patrons and game will be abandoned. 90% of responses here, at least, are negative. There is nothing more apt to describe this update than "WTF?" If it was a dessert it would be a big shit cake with diarrhea icing.

It is telling that almost everyone here has the same reaction. I can't imagine this game continuing much longer. The dev doesn't seem to know what kind of game he is making. If it is this much of a mess by update 2, best to spend a few months writing out a coherent story that actually is fun to play for your intended audience, and then start over with a new game.

TBH previous to this update is an entirely different game. This is what happens when you do "New Coke" or such. I remember that ish in 1985. Christ on the Crapper how can anyone see this as anything but an abortion of an update.

To give the dev the benefit of the doubt, this may be the story that he always intended. I think there were very subtle hints about this story in the previous release when viewed in hindsight: the encounter with the strange man in the parking garage, the principal talking about powerful and influential people, the meeting with the big boss in the hallway. The confusion is due to problems with how the story has been presented.

The first act of a story has to introduce the main characters, establish the setting, and, most importantly, set the tone of the story. Most VNs are long so the first act may need several releases to be fully realized. However, each release could be seen as an individual episode in a serialized narrative that need to maintain a similar tone.

The first episode (release) is a vanilla family corruption drama in a school setting with elements of political intrigue. The second episode (release) is a seedy, violent noir thriller about the mafia with elements of the supernatural. That's a jarring shift in tone that either needed to be introduced in the first release or more slowly revealed over time.

If people start watching Full House and enjoy seeing Uncle Jesse bang Becky before flirting with DJ and Kimmy, then they will be understandably upset if they see him bang a crack whore before being shot by Tony Soprano in the next episode.

Giving constructive criticism is one thing but all these "wtf" statements is the problem.

Like I said above I did not like what happen with Luna but I am willing to give the dev the benefit of the doubt for this release and will wait for the next 2-3 updates to see where it goes.

A lot of you have totally missed what the shrink said to MC, basically given the MC the right to come out and take charged and not hold back anymore and the school telling him he can do what ever he thinks would get all the bad girls to come in line and so forth.

Not quite.

The game you mentioned has a spinoff. The first version of that spinoff was posted here with a patch. It was banhammered. No explanation other than rule 7. All discussion banned. Any discussion from people who played the game and could vouch for the lack of rule-breaking deleted. Based on that, the new interpretation of the rule seems to be that any character's existence must be placed in the patch, not just any lewd content. But the mods won't discuss, they just point to the rule and ban. There is a good chance that this post gets wiped too, as either thread clean up or off topic because that is how this site rolls now.

This may be a big stretch, but I wonder if this game is supposed to end up being the slow decent of a man into losing himself and becoming something completely different than he thought he was. The real psychopaths of the world — Ted Bundy, Frederick Coe, Malcolm Fairley, and the like — don't start out with serious crimes. This could be the early stages of the MC becoming a monster. I really hope not, though: those types of games are one of the only types I really don't like. Still, if this game is meant to show the MC starting to lose control but then ultimately regaining it and moving forward, I would probably still enjoy it, even if parts would be harder for me to get through.
