Agree to disagree. Given how recent v0.3.0 was released on F95 (only 11 days ago), it's not a very good assumption that another release would be posted here already. So if you're not a patron and don't know details, you can logically assume you'd have to wait some time still since it wouldn't be publicly available yet. Again, agree to disagree. Would have been logical, if he wasn't said 3.5 and "Xmas update", woudn't be logical to release "Xmas update" after "Xmas"... Secondly no one says anything about public release, or to be up day one on F95, but for a release, maybe pay attention to what is said next time, and don't be jerk to someone who only asks questions like "trbbles and bits"...
Did you put in into Buried Desires/game/ folder? It's not the same folder where .exe file is.
yes my main issue is that my windows computer doesnt know what to do with .rpa and other renpy code, most other games on here auto change it to windows compatible like .exe but for this stuff its like i need a different software app to be able to use the application? idk im new to pc stuff so any info is helpful. it keeps using internet explorer to try to open and use the patch/game.
It sounds like you're double-clicking or otherwise trying manually to open the file. You shouldn't try to open the patch yourself. Just copy it into the game folder Moonis mentioned, and then run the normal executable for Buried Desires. The Ren'Py gaming engine will automatically recognize the patch and apply it. Don't do anything with the .rpa file except place it in the game folder. The Buried Desires game should take care of everything else.
What I indicated earlier is normal; if your computer is automatically trying to read it using Internet Explorer, something is wrong. But your computer shouldn't try to find a program to read the file on its own anyway if you do what I described before. Your machine should only try to figure out what program to use to read a file if you try to open the file. Otherwise, the file just exists on your hard drive. And since you have the game installed, the Ren'Py that the game uses will read the file.
How can you call that development? Taking what this is now it's just a mish-mash of broken and missing scenes with a story line with as many holes as a colander, it's wonder anyone can follow it anymore. From my experience of 0.3 most of the time was spent doing random things around the house and spending most of the "school" time in the parking garage. It's made all the worse by the broken gibberish that this game calls English.
Hey Betisis, I didn't see this in the Latest Updates. I only learned it was updated by a post on Faerin's game. Did you report it so it get's published on that new Alpha "Latest Updates" page? Not sure how it works when you own your own thread.
