Sure but if you want to see/have everything in the game, you have to do it.
All the "bad" actions you're forced to do are erased by the the world's reset, except this one that remind you the scumbag you were, for the sake of completion (it's ironic as the player who really want to play the game is the one who'll get punishment)
So, inapropriate for the reward system, cruel for reminding you that you had to be a complete douche, and dark for Lin who said she will catch you in a alley and cut off your balls.




Interesting, but it doesn't matter the reason you have, a hypocrite is a hypocrite.
You can't say you hate people who smoke if yourself smoke openly in front of them, even under the pretext that your sister gave you cigarettes in the past.
As for Carla, sure, she becomes less hypocrite as the corruption progress, but you can't say to your son not being to close to Lin and let this same Lin grope and bang you the same week end.

But hey, you and the dev don't have to be " concerned " by all of this, just close your eyes and forget, like nothing happened, as we are in a world that resets after the week end and it's already Sunday.

I think you're 100% right on the idea that it may punish completionists by forcing them perform bad actions. Presenting the brand new Happy Mode:


I think one of the best things about the time loop format is that I can show the negative repercussions of the players actions. You can burn characters and ruin lives. This helps me contrast against some of the otherwise dubious things that might be happening, Sami in particular you can do some things too that have some moral questions. But knowing that I can and do show when you take things too far helps me communicate to the player that Sami is okay with what is happening. In the case of the Idiot mail, it is an important piece to exist... But I do recognise how painful it can be for a completionist. The option to remove it from the screen that shows completion is probably appropriate. May take a while to filter down to public version.

As for the hypocrite part I think the difference between the two is that Lin views herself as having a duty of care. She is free to indulge outside of that, putting the MC on the menu for her. She views Carla as having that duty of care over MC and therefore any romance between would taint that. Lin feels similarly about her having relations with Lina, Jenny or Alex as she does to Carla doing things with MC and Sami. It's a bit of nuance about the principals of when you go down on someone rather than just being arbitrary, if the character grows up such that they no longer live under that duty of care... they become fair game. It's the same thing Lin laid out when Carla started getting the hots for Cassidy. When Lina watches, she's just peeping, she isn't actually involved and Lin isn't encouraging her to participate.

In regards to NTR... Lin, Lisa and Carla (and Bess) have been in a sexual relationship since before the MC was born. Bess left for the farm, Lin and Lisa got married and moved away. When they meet back up they picked up their sexual relationship. Lin is a bit more open about this than others... And that's kind of it? I don't think the idea that characters with a prior sexual relationship engage in one threesome that you aren't in, behind closed doors and without actively telling you rises to the level of NTR. Similarly this is the starting point of the relationship there, the idea that you will never be invited to that threesome is also a bit silly.

Given that NTR is about cheating and unfaithfulness... How does any of that even come close to this bar? Is it just that a character will eventually be part of the harem, therefore they can never have sex with anyone else ever? I know that's pushing things to the extreme, but is it then that you can never see them having sex with someone else. I get that might make you jealous... but she's certainly not cheating or being unfaithful, and at the same time, once Lisa gets her corruption levels... You'll be in that room getting them all pregnant. Carla's already just about there, Lin would be down so you've just got that one person left.

If you want everyone to break up and date you exclusively and no one has sex without your permission... I don't see how that is a happy ending? Lin and Lisa deeply love each other, that would have to end. They wouldn't be the only ones struggling. I understand that this is porn and you can have a world where everything revolves around the MC... but not having that doesn't make things NTR. Like how having one post game CG of a pregnant lady shouldn't give your game the pregnancy tag... you should have to go further.

The argument was never about the relashionships themselves, nor was it about happy endings. We're discussuing the forum's definition of netorare, which does apply in this case.
