Request section, DM or Report. Report is probably the easiest, but there is no guarantee that all information including changelog will be updated.

The point is not to post links publicly here, because the devs will kill the link instantly (especially if it is a popular DMCA friendly host).

BaasB has explicitly requested people use the requests subforum if they want someone to grab the game off of Steam, strip out protections, and update the thread. Reporting with a link is if you have a functional copy of the game uploaded and ready to share, while DM is circumventing the entire process and ignoring both BaasB's request and the forum's rules.

Hundreds of threads are updated every day via report. Of course you need the working and cracked version, because uncracked means unplayable (hello UE4 Patreon uncracked version in the OP:KEK:).

Steam version have the standard Steam-DRM, which anyone can crack in 2 seconds, or is there something extra?
But you have the Patreon version, so you can't confirm it,right?

I have read the OP. I've even submitted builds that way here in the past. I keep saying to make a request in the request forum because that's what the owner of the thread, a current site moderator, has explicitly requested we do. And I searched up a link to the request because you decided to chime in and say we could do whatever.

It's been a long running issue with this particular thread that basically nobody is willing to actually share a build and so if nobody makes a request in the requests subforum, people twiddle their thumbs and generate weeks of "when update?" in the thread. I wish that was hyperbole but that's exactly the kind of situation BaasB was replying to at the time, and it's not the only time it's happened for this thread.

And yes, the Steam version is easy to crack, and there people who own the game and will crack it - if they become aware of the fact that doing so is needed.

This is happening everywhere (where updates are less frequent).

This is happening everywhere (where updates are less frequent).
Indeed, nobody reads anything. The best way to make sure a customer doesn't see something is to put it on a sign, and if you want to make sure a forum member never, ever reads a thread, you pin it.

But that won't stop me from telling people that if they want the game updated here in a timely manner, the fastest way to do so is to get eyes on the update by making a request in the game requests subforum.

Hi all,

We're here with one of the last updates of the year, with at least one more chunky release to come in 2024. We aim to release some of the content out into a third update, dropping earlier, but we'll decide based on stability in the coming week or so.

This update reintroduces a character from UE4, the Void Daughter, along with a dungeon and the first stage of a void-themed DSS scene. Venture into the depths beneath the dunes, uncovering this long-forgotten inhabitant of the void... the space between spaces.

This will be the first taste of the void in UE5, but there is a quest chain planned to delve further into the secrets of these ethereal beings. To complement the new content there is a substantial amount of artwork, but we'll come to that further in the development update when we talk about the other upcoming 2024 content.

Various parts of the map have received a visual update, especially those that lay on the approach to what will soon be the Minoan city of Kusu. From the mud-huts of the workers to the elaborate residences of the elites.

These new areas are not without danger however, and new threats lurk amidst Sabu's dunes... hunting the skies of the desert kingdom. Here and there you can already encounter the some of these, with various locations in the world that invite danger for the unwary...

Firstly and most importantly (echo's note: it's an objective fact that things with scales are the most essential) the Drake will finally arrive in some form. Each is unique, but these sentient creatures sit somewhere between the Draconid and a full blown Dragon.

The Drake is a particularly flexible creature, and can contort itself into many potential positions... for the right mate of course. A Drake won't be interested in just anyone, rather they will have to be enticed with gold, jewels, and other shiny trinkets. Must be all that Dragonblood in their veins.

We also intend to implement the Naga before the end of the year, however that is currently less complete and not in a state to show off any "beauty shots".

Faction quests are on the menu for December too, with the first chunk of the Inquisitor's of Bast questline releasing before Christmas. The dark tombs beneath the quiet sands have allowed the zealots to bide their time, now they seek to strike... to reclaim Sabu in the name of the Usurper Queen Bast.

There are several large dungeons coming in December, so it should provide a strong mix of new gameplay and adult content. It's hard to showcase these things without too many spoilers, so these screenshots will have to suffice for now. We also have the Temple of Jedet dropping, a gloryhole-filled shrine devoted to the well-hung Ram demigod himself. Players will be able to give and/or recieve a servicing at one of the temple's several "ritual openings".

This massive, subterranean vault is a perfect rest-stop to take a load... what was I saying again? There will be quests set here in 2025, however for the time being it's just a place to give or receive oral.

Other areas of the map have already been set-dressed in anticipation of upcoming quests, including the return of our bookish draconid girl from UE4, Ahmes. We also have the first arc of the Anubites quests as well as a very extensive quest to become a slave (and everything that entails). Multiple new enemy types are also in the works so very much watch this space!

Whew, that was a marathon to draft... well hopefully it conveys at least a taste of what we've been working on. There is more in the works than we can properly convey in a single post, but you should have your hands on a great deal of it soon.

A reminder: Patreon builds of Carnal Instinct have custom protections on them. This update was evidently also posted to Steam, so in order to update the thread you should make a request on the game requests subforum and refer to in the request.
Crazy how we went from no builds for 6+ months to a couple builds in a short amount of time. Hopefully that means the devs changed their view on how to deal with the Steam version.

The devs haven't announced any changes in their normal scheduling. That said, this update (and the promise of at least one more this year) is a departure from their quarterly update schedule. One thing I would note is that this is the first blog post in a long time that doesn't mention dev illness, computer trouble, or any other form of delay or oversight impacting development. And it's unannounced, out of cycle, and smaller than normal.

Overall it looks more like they snuck some new content into a bugfix build and combined that with a plans of the future devblog.

This is actually positive in many ways. Especially no delays.
But they could continue like this. At least one more extra Christmas/December Steam update.:)

But bad news are..BaasB is sick.. canceled a lot of threads. Hopefully he will recover soon.

Thinking about buying this on steam ( its on sale ) I haven't played since the UE4 version, does the new version have a decent amount of content now ?
