I recommend going to the Gallery page in-game and checking to see if there is any "Locked Event" for you. That represents the new content.
This probably seems logical and obvious to you. I'm guessing you are working on exactly ONE game right now? It has been several months since the last time I downloaded this - and this is jut one of many games I follow.
You have branches and paths, but there is exactly ZERO ability for a player to know what path they are on. While the branches and paths make sense to you, because you are obviously immersed in your game universe and development - us players out here have no point of reference. Nothing to tell us months later which 'path' we are on. 'Tara's route'. I don't remeber who Tara is let alone what her route might be.
If you are going to create hard forking games, please for the love of all that is fappable create a system that allows players returning to understand what the heck is going on and which one they are supposed to be 'on' or following. Remember, it all probably seems obvious to you because you only have one game in your head you are focused on, and are probably living with it almost every day. Most of us only drop in for a few hours every couple of months or so - throw us a bone here!
The very fact that my version of this screen says there are (66) all events and (0) locked events says that this method doesn't work - unless you are starting from a fresh save - in which case it is rather moot?
The count of "All events" showing up as 66 makes me think you're not playing the latest release (The latest release has 109 Events).
What version number shows up in the main menu?
If your game is not in the latest version, I would love to hear what process you followed to play the game. I would appreciate if you could reply back.
We have..
We have the Gallery Page that spells out word by word what you haven't watched yet and how to reach that event. This is the main one.
We also show a nod to the path you're on at the name of the save file.

Let me say that I do not usually swear so F*ck em all tell your story your way I love it and prefer the shaved path but like to keep up with the unshaved path therefore am happy at any update large of small and hang on every frame so keep up the good work and THANK YOU for all your efforts
man, the game is great and all, I've said that in my other post, but is just me or the updates are taking too long and they are tooooo short?!

Very good game, congratulations. I wonder if there will be more development in the plot of domination and BDSM, with the exploration of training devices, I saw that there was an event that the character dreamed of. A route in that direction would be interesting.

OK I did the 'keeping the bush' path just to see this update and to be honest, WTF, does the dev hate bushes that much to turn this game down such a dark pathway.
I think in future I'll just be playing the 'shaven' path unless the dev decides to turn that dark as well.
Oh yeah, you should add a Slavery tag as well now, as that's what this update has achieved.

I was going to quote your other rant, but its way to long.
For a game dev or even a game, this game has given much more bones in showing where you are at than any other game on this forum/site.
So get off your priviledged high horse and just play the game.. if you don't like the game or the way it is, just move on. There are plenty other games. Many of which are way more complex in nature and harder to understand and more tedious to get to the actual action/scenes.
If you want just fap material, search for porn or hentai somewhere else. It's meant to be a game/visual novel with choices.
If you don't care enough to check what wil take you not even a minute.. I mean,it says pretty clear at the top of the first page in the changelog what was added. Also in game there are many ways to notice where you are, what day, what route and aside from that there is the gallery..
You can just click: Unlock all there, if you really aren't bothered with actually playing through the story..
Also does the game dev owe you anything? I highly doubt it, they have been kind and understanding and try to please pretty much everyone that they possibly can. But guess some like yourself wil never be pleased.
If it is so easy to make a game like this, you could make your own. Maybe an idea??
Sorry if I am a bit offensive here, but I can't stand people like yourself that can only give negativity over something you get for free!

yes you should probably bow out now.While I do hate bushes, that's not why this path is dark. All paths will have various levels of darkness. A lot of us get off on the whole forced nudity thing, which by its nature has to be dark to some extent. However, my general rule of thumb is that the victim has to be getting some kind of pleasure out of it, so there will be light within the darkness. Plus there will be opportunities for her to escape, and for villains to get their comeuppance from time to time.

Not an unreasonable point. However, I wanted this to be a journey of discovery for the player. To explore all the paths and see where they lead. Plus they kind of crossover, mesh and go off on different tangents, so it can be difficult to define one path enough to name it. As Sakrilas pointed out, we have the gallery to check on any events you might have missed. Another option is there's a walk-through/cheat sheet in our Discord server which explains the world, the characters and a summary of what happens day by day and where each choice will take you. I'm just working on an update for that where I'll name all the main paths we have now and also the ones we have planned for the future. (We kind of need that for our development conversations now as well so we know which path we're talking about with each other. I can just see us arguing soon about 2 different paths thinking we're talking about the same one). The guide has lots of spoilers so I'd only recommend it for people who don't mind those, or if they've played the game and want a deeper understanding of it.
This should be my last post about the update situation because I don't want to sound like a whiney asshole.
As others have said the change log tell us nothing about whether we're getting content or not. I thought there were only 2 paths (shaven/unshaven) but I guess there are more paths.
I choose the shaven path because that is my preference but if I was given a choice of having a bush to get more content I'd take it. This story and characters are amazing and I'd rather see the story progress at all costs.
You amazing devs say you're working on this game in your spare time so why did you decide to make all these different paths that add so much to the development time. You're basically making 3+ games at the same time which annoys every single person who enjoys the game regardless of what path they are on. I've been waiting for this naked party for what feels like 6 months now and at this rate I don't know if I'll get to see it this year.
Lastly you devs have handled this critisism amazingly. We can all see you love your work. Whatever you decide to do just keep being awesome.

Yes, the progress is definitely slow due to us only being able to do this outside of our day jobs and other commitments, but we think it will be worth it in the end with a much richer game to play rather than just a graphic novel version of the original story. Plus we can expand on ideas and concepts that I couldn't make fit with the original plot. This way I can have it all.
It's a passion project and maintaining the quality is very important to us.

That is, effectively, exactly what they did. They "cancelled" the branch you were following and expanded the other one. But, as you demonstrate, even that doesn't please everyone.
The good news for you is that now they are "cancelling" the unshaven branch and expanding the branch you want to see. For a few months, anyway.
I am pretty sure that one of the intended consequences of pursuing alternating branches is that it keeps the developers interested. The most precious resource in amateur game design is developer enthusiasm.
