I don't care much for 5 either. Part of that is the tattoos. Not that she has them, but that the ones she has aren't that appealing. The 3 small ones on the stomach area kinda meh, for example. But the bigger factor for me is the hair. The coloring, the Toni Basil "Hey Mickey" style... it's something like you might do for an event, but once the night is over, it goes away.

We're not quite finished. We still want to add more renders and some other tweaks in the main path with Greg and the Professor Ollam path, plus maybe anything we get feedback about.

Agreed! I don't think we'll see anything like this any time soon. For me it was the original ENF/OON appeal for me. I'm honestly not into the BDSM stuff at all and not much in exhibitionism in it as a sexual thing. The one thing that did it for me isCompleted with Text?

A) Normal, average girl. Pretty but REAL.
B) Suddenly has to lose her clothing, including in public?! At school? Work? Around everyone she knows? For me....that's it. All the awkwardness, nudity, cuteness is my FAV part. So to have the section where she's FINALLY set up to be running around school in the buff be all text, and an epilogue at that? I'm happy we're getting that but without even many renders, it's bittersweet.
Also I'm such a stickler for full nudity. Naked + heels/shoes/stockings is less good to me than naked. Idk. Everyone has a thing. I'd be annoyed if she had gloves on. Or didn't take the top off too.

I hope you guys go back and include more renders - as it is now the sheer amount of text to go through feels like far too much.

Yeah, like VelcroFist mentioned, this is just a file that I keep some code chunks I have to use whenever we want to make an event unlockable and re-watchable through the gallery.
You can completely ignore it. After reading your comment, I moved this file into another location so it won't be included in the releases any more.

I think you have done enough VelcroFist, it feels like it's raining by the way you have urinated
on the fans head with this update, each update gets lazier and lazier. This update was lots of
pictures of tables and chairs with text, and then a lot of black screens with text like the following
below. I can do the same thing with paint.net and type text on a picture of tables and chairs,
and color wallpaper black and apply white text.
Anybody that owns Daz could finish the entire story and make a CBR comic, which is what should have be done to
begin with IF it's too much trouble to finish making the game.

Being disappointed that elements are unfinished doesn't justify attacking the dev. Ask privately for your money back if you are disappointed.

Did you miss this bit below? It's nothing to do with being lazy. Many people don't understand what is involved in a project like this. We were putting in an extraordinary amount of time and effort, more than 10 hours per day, 7 days per week, and we also have full time jobs and families. Now each of our personal circumstances have changed and we can no longer do that. My health deteriorated from all of the time spent sitting and not getting enough sleep, and in the end became life-threatening. That is improving now, but I can no longer put more than an hour or two into personal projects involving a PC each day. Sakrilas, who does all the Daz while I do the writing, has his own issues which I can't talk about, but he physically no longer has any time at all available. That happened gradually at first, so our updates slowed down, and then more suddenly when it became more impossible to find time. There was also a considerable amount of burnout on both our parts.
Patreon also changed their community guidelines, and this Game fell outside of those, so it was only a matter of time until we got booted. That, however, was only a minor consideration. While we did dream of making this our full time jobs one day (which would have made finding time a lot easier), this was foremost a passion project rather than a way to generate money. So, we decided to cancel our Patreon before that happened, but this was after we had already decided it was time to pull the plug on the Game. We also regularly didn't charge patrons when we were lagging behind with updates. However, rather than just walk away from it like so many other projects, we put the effort in to write these epilogue style endings so fans could see how we planned for the various paths to end. That was months of work on its own. I agree that a couple of the endings definitely do not have enough images, and we do have a plan to add more. (Those sections remain improperly finished with just background images or black screen as placeholders for the time being). However, it is unknown when we will get time to do it.
Casey's Fall is one of four novels, the fourth I am still working on. I am hopeless with drawing or even using DAZ3D, but AI is showing a lot of promise for people like me. When I finish the current novel, I hope AI has developed sufficiently to see if I can create VNs in either the Ren'Py format or a comic book style, or possibly even a Web TV series using text to video. I am not sure about creating another game though. It is unbelievably difficult to maintain consistency with lots of alternate paths, not to mention coming up with a bunch of different storylines and then the time involved in writing them, and then creating hundreds of renders. Perhaps a sandbox style would be better. This is just dreaming though. I don't know if AI will ever be good enough or if I'll have the time to do it, and the issue with monetising it due to the nonconsensual content will still be there. I could possibly rewrite it all to make it more mainstream with just nudity and no nonconsensual sex, but then they would be quite different stories since the non con is part of the main plots, plus it possibly wouldn't be as much fun to work on. I also still have a bunch of ideas for how the story could keep going, so I may just stick to writing and start a fifth novel when I finish the current one, but that is a couple of years away yet.

I am not a frequent follower of the thread, but while I appreciate the frustration (I really like Casey, I had even offered to buy the duf subscene file for her from Velcrofist without result, and liked the story, though it was so good I felt too attached to poor Casey to fully play the game), don't forget at least they have been trying to finish the game, even if slowly and probably with a lower quality, instead of just abandoning it, and that is something that should be appreciated.
And about anybody doing anything else with the characters, first of all, the story was their story, second, they are the only ones with the character files, so the "Anybody that owns Daz could finish the entire story" is a bit too broad and ignoring the work they put in it, IMO.
I do not know them, I have no contact with them, I am not a fan, but it just seem to me that, again, while I can imagine your frustation (imagining you are a fan of the game), your post seems honestly a bit unfair.

A bit unfair? The devs have been completely honest and open about what is happening with the game, so to post something like he did isn't "just a bit unfair" it's the poster just being a huge childish asshole for no reason.

I can't recall this conversation and I try to reply to everyone who contacts me. I may have been thrown off since I don't know what a "duf subscene file" is. It sounds like it might be something to do with digital rights. Sakrilas owns the rights to the visuals used in the Game, so you would need to contact him about that, while I own the rights to the character.
For the character, I am still writing stories about Casey so I would be reluctant to part with it, but I don't have a problem with fanfic. It would tickle me to see it even. I might not enjoy it much if her character was altered too much though, but other scenarios where she escapes the blackmailer or never even meets him due to a decision she makes earlier and so on would be fun.
