Does anyone have 0.041? It's been months since it was released and since the game has been abandoned leaking it shoudn't be a problem.

Dev has been on hiatus since early this summer, hence the "On Hold" tag. Uncertain if/when it'll start back up.

That does not seem to be the latest version, on SS is 0.041 available.
possible bug. No way to advance past end of 1st rent period. Paying bills works but still no option to advance. v0.40 alpha

Anyone know if this will continue to be worked on? Or maybe if there is any activity on the Discord server? I tried joining the but got an error
The last the creator said about this project gave the indication that it was taking a severe toll on his personal and professional life. It was something that he was struggling to balance and wanted to take a few months to reassess and get back into a better place before working on it again. With the actual porn aspects of it being a big part of the issue.
It sounds to me like the guy recognized a problem in his life caused by the pornographic and non-consensual aspects of his project. If he's feeling guilty over that sort of thing or is having his mental health and romantic relationship negatively affected by that, and is willing to take a step away from the problem, it gives me the impression he ain't coming back.
And you know what, props to him for choosing his health over what a bunch of us degenerates on the internet want. He was super honest and up front about it and didn't string anyone along to milk them for their hard earned cash. And the same cannot be said for a frustratingly large amount of patreon porn game developers out there.

Just to shed more light on things, I know someone in the Casting Director discord, and he still speaks to ODD on occasion. I don't want to share anything told to me in confidence, but he has publicly shared some stuff on another discord so that info should be fair game.
According to him, ODD got a job in the non-porn game development industry (and actually used Casting Director on his resume, which is a ballsy move honestly). Which is great, mainstream game development is something he wants to do and he's doing it! It's unknown whether he'll ever pick up development again, but it had seriously messed with his mental health. He seems to be doing okay now, but I personally doubt he'll ever resume development.

Not sure I believe that he put a game on his resume that includes the option to rape an unconscious woman.
Sure, I doubt the hiring guy would actually check out the project but a quick Google would reveal the game is in large part a Harvey Weinstein simulator with certain choices.
