Stirring the pot hardcoreSounds fun. Let's imagine a scene where Jaye is having a disagreement with her brother, and he loses his temper and begins to punch her as hard as he can. How do you suppose all of the Jaye fans would react to that? Do you think they would be able to ignore that just as they did with Jaye when she did it to him?
So the MC is an athlete. Her punching him is pretty much immaterial. He's far stronger and more than capable of fending her off without damage. Sure there are circumstances where the female in the equation is physically more powerful, but this isn't one....

A certain 10%....LOL! Yeah, with her iris's being square and her hand rigging being all types of jacked up. *shudders*
Bruh, are you Amber Heard's lawyer? Hammering down on someone is fine just as long as the one doing the hammering is female and it fits their personality? You must be, bruhSo the MC is an athlete. You know, men are trained from an early age to deal with the physical out lashing of upset women. Take the hits. Wrap them up. Hold them until they calm down. I get that it's not PC, but it is reality.
Your question is interesting in the abstract, but given the circumstances between them it simply wouldn't happen. He'd NEVER harm her no matter the provocation. NEVER EVER. If he felt his self control weakening, he'd walk away. Hell he abandoned his family because he felt his control over his feelings was slipping.
To imagine that scene is to deny EVERYTHING we've learned about these two people. You're asking us not to imagine a scene between the MC and Jaye but a scene between two strangers unrelated to these two characters.
What part about the hammering person being physically weaker than the hammered person did you ignore?Bruh, are you Amber Heard's lawyer? Hammering down on someone is fine just as long as the one doing the hammering is female and it fits their personality? You must be, bruh![]()
Sure hammering on someone is generally wrong, male or female. I was in court when the case before mine was a domestic dispute. He was 5'7" 145lbs soaking wet. She was 5'10" easily 250 lbs. All he wanted was a police escort so he could get his personal things out of their formerly shared apartment, and needed the protection so she couldn't beat him up. The judge looks at the woman and says "You don't actually hit him do you?" She replies "All the time. When ever he needs it. I smack him whenever he gets out of line." The judge clearly is shaken, then issues an order that the police will escort him while she stays out of the apartment so he can collect his belongings. Real life often defies stereotypes.Bruh, are you Amber Heard's lawyer? Hammering down on someone is fine just as long as the one doing the hammering is female and it fits their personality? Fuck me, dude. I was a lanky piece of shit for a good 18 years of my life, could've spent all that time headbutting my way through arguments. What part about the hammering person being physically weaker than the hammered person did you ignore?
Probably just wait for an update or two. Seeing what happened in the last release, it would seem to be only a matter of time on the Mallory path. What do I have to do to get a storyline with Amanda?? The hottest chick in the game is completely left out of the mix..
Oh, so it's no harm no foul? Does that mean that the main character could slap her around a bit as long as he doesn't injure her? She could live through a few bruises so would that be okay?So the MC is an athlete. Her punching him is pretty much immaterial. But if we imagine Jaye trying to beat up the MC, it's exactly the Jaye we've come to know. And that's the point here. I know that the MC wouldn't hit Jaye, because he's a decent human being, but I also know that I can't say the same for Jaye. A relationship with Jaye would be a horrible idea, and I want the option to have the main character realize this and tell Jaye to grow up and back off.If we imagine the MC beating up Jaye, we're imagining a stranger, not the MC we've come to know.
Most likley, as of now, there is no planned path for bothAre the paths going to intersect at some point in the future where you gotta pick one cause single brain celled me is playing both side on one save?
Who the hell said that it would be okay for the MC to slap Jaye around? Nobody on this thread!Oh, so it's no harm no foul? Does that mean that the main character could slap her around a bit as long as he doesn't injure her? She could live through a few bruises so would that be okay?
Or how about Jaye just learns to behave like a normal person and stop violently lashing out at people? Is that too much to ask? She's like one of those yappy little dogs that snaps at everyone because they were never taught how to behave since people thought her actions were cute because she is too small and weak to do any real damage.
It seems to me that you already have the option for the MC to be with someone else and not be romantically involved with Jaye. Perhaps that's not good enough for you. Just what DO you want the MC to do with/to Jaye? But if we imagine Jaye trying to beat up the MC, it's exactly the Jaye we've come to know. And that's the point here. The game likes to push this awful idea that hate isn't the opposite of love, but that's a dangerous load of nonsense. That's the kind of reasoning you get from abusive partners who say things like "Oh baby, you know I only hit you because I love you so much it makes me crazy".
No, I'm not missing the point; I'm disagreeing with the point. You and the other Jaye fans who are saying that it's okay for her to be violent with the MC, and I'm saying that it's wrong. But you too are missing the point about the person on the receiving end being far stronger. The MC can easily absorb any punishment that Jaye could deal out.
I want the main character to have the option to tell Jaye to grow up and back off. Have you ever tried to do a run through this game where the main character has a healthy normal relationship with Jaye? One where they learn to work together in a professional manner? It's pretty much impossible. She's stealing his journals, masturbating on his pillow, spying on him in the shower, and rubbing her ass against his crotch like a cat in heat.It seems to me that you already have the option for the MC to be with someone else and not be romantically involved with Jaye. So what's Jaye's deal then? She wants control over the MC? Is she just an asshole who doesn't know a thing about love, but does know a lot about abuse and how to deal it out?I don't see how the definitions of love and hate have anything to do with someone slapping around their partner. People don't usually do that out of love OR hate. More likely it's about control... or they're just an asshole - someone who doesn't know a thing about love, but does know a lot about abuse and how to deal it out.
that's not tarebear on the right
Because it's Lisa, you know the best side girl in the game.that's not tarebear on the right
