Well that's a BIG fucking lie, i clearly remember the dev quote saying how he was soo impressed by the courage to create the AL choice that he decided to make a game with a much bigger one.

Spoiler alert Chasing sunset will end the same house on fire/can only save one except dev will do one better by revealing the one you choose will eventually die hours later due to complication due to smoke inhalation.

My assumption is that they had started fucking when MC was watching porn in the next room. And a couple of minutes into it, just like all other gay people; Christian's true self took over him and went for her arse and that's when the situation got a little tighter and she freaked out.
