Does anybody understand how the camshow minigame works? Chloe always says she's to tired to continue and most of the times I get this error message after the show:
Am I just stupid and don't understand what todo or is it buggy?

that engine is really a pain in the a**, why couldn't the dev just use renpy like a normal person
totally agree. I enjoyed this game a lot more then the other chloe games. But my favorite characters are on the travis side. Should have kept the seperation.
Didn't play it but I saw 77 new sex scenes and all 77 were Chloe MC scenes.
To be honest, they're likely very HOT - knowing GDS - but I came into this game because of the Fake Family stuff and it didn't progress in this update.
That being said, if you like this update... then enjoy.

as far as I can tell GDS tried a male protagonist game hoping the Patreon subscribers would skyrocket and since everything instead stayed about the same he's reverting to what the Patreon subscribers claim to want which is more Chloe
I've seen enough Chloe content in my life and really loved all the other stuff but whatever keeps the lights on I guess

The mc is kind of an idiot though. GDS took a reverse hollywood approach here: Replace the female mc with a boring male mc
Can you install the Halloween update with the new .60 update? or is it like a separate game? Thanks in advance.

Hey guys, quick question, is there any new content for travis besides helping chloe with her apartment?
In my opinion, they should've just updated ChloeBtC, if that's the case. I felt like Fake Family transitioning to Chloe is kind of a bait and switch since this game was marketed to me (at the time) to be a different take on the universe. Which, in itself, I find interesting. Going back to Chloe MC seems like it's just reworking the same previous games with better graphics.
But I do not condemn the decision. GDS is a business and the smart move would be to follow where the money is. It doesn't mean I have to like where the game direction is going.
Agree that he's kind of a wimp. For a young adult with supposed experience, he acts like a total tool. But I still find that interesting because that makes room for character development.
Chloe, I feel, doesn't really get that development in the previous games. She's still a nymphomaniac in denial now as she was then.
But this topic is polarizing. Whether you write a strong dominant male MC, or a weak-willed wimp male MC, or a goody two shoes male MC, or any other kind of male MC, basically any male MC with a set personality, you won't be able to capture your entire audience.
There's also the topic of payoffs. I don't speak for everybody but I find it's easier to get a good sexual content from a female MC by just making them take a bath or look in the mirror and masturbate. Male MCs have to work for it, otherwise, it won't feel rewarding and it becomes another quick porn simulator.
At the end of the day, I would've preferred that Fake Family stayed grounded on the male MC and have him get his character development, rather than jump back into the 4th iteration of Chloe18 - which, don't get me wrong, I would still probably find hot and entertaining but getting old at this point.
But don't let my non-enjoyment of the thing you enjoy hinder you from enjoying the thing you enjoy.
I got really excited when I saw this game got an update, and even more so when I read the 77 new sex animations. Then I realized they were all Chloe MC. What a let-down.

Agreed with restrictions.
The whole Chloe series has a problem - and that is that no game is completed in the the real sense of the word. The games are marked completed, but in every game you have plots that have open ends and the main open end is that Chloe does not have her dream fulfilled. Two of the games I only started, tried and deleted because I didn't like them and that was the webcam game and Fake Family. The webcam game was an arcade game style that was for me nearly unplayable, because I have an handicap with my arm/hand movements (don't like ego-shooters either) and Fake Family : Wrong MC, ugly GUI with RPGM-style map. I was interested in Chloe and her adventures and not in a new MC. And a second problem is that the world isn't left alone. Only the school is a common ground. Workplaces etc disappeared. You don't come back to known areas. It's just like there is a new town build.
Hannas Boat Trip was ok, because it was in Chloe18's universe, but still isolated. It could have played in another universe and it would not have made any difference. It's like a stand alone game.
In my opinion leaving the GUI from Chloe18BTC alone (It was in my opinion ok) and to continue to tell the story of Chloe with using known and adding new areas and including the FakeFamily Story as a side story would have been a better idea. Not telling the story from a new MC point of view. Telling it from Chloes point of view with glimpses into the Fake family with help from the other characters in Chloe18's universe.
A fair take.
But as a straight male who likes to quasi-self insert himself into these kinds games, I liked the idea of a Male MC's POV in the Chloe universe. Even if I don't fully agree with the MC's actions.
But my point stands. Either continue developing FF or ChloeBtC and have them be separate games where I can enjoy them individually. Fake Family could by a spin-off or non-canon for all I care. If the game has a grounded protagonist with good character development (as the plot is interesting already for me), then it's still going to be a good game and I can still enjoy it while also enjoying the other game for entirely different reasons
