Yeah? I just find that there's a definite lack in quality VN's, sure there's quantity especially if you include all of the abandoned ones, but there really aren't that many with storylines worth my attention.

Well, I hold this game in such high regard that to me, nothing could ever beat it. I've played nearly 40 games, and accrued over 130,000 screenshots since I started. I've had a good run, Katie's the only one at the top of my VN Mount Rushmore. There would be three other girls up there, if I had only finished their games or if their games were ever finished.

I'm happy with what I got; supported some great devs, but after Katie and CoBD, I'm done, whether or not two other games in my sig are finished or not

Apart from Philly's Depraved Awakening and CoBD, I am sure there will be another game from Philly starting up after a short break post release of CoBD. So, I am sure there will be more. Pretty sure that Philly is just as hooked on making these games as we are in playing them.

I guess I've always been easy to "satisfy" when it comes to movies, tv and games. My baseline is usually "was I entertained". EH, a lot of these games are just poorly rendered porn with less of a plot. I need a storyline that is more than a "how many chicks can the MC stack on his 12 inch stick" harem fantasy... It's why I like COBD so much, it is a highly entertaining highly erotic story set in a cyberpunk future. The sex is very much a part of the game but it isn't the reason for the plot. It isn't one of the thousands of "guy in college every girl wants to fuck" games out there, it isn't about the MC fucking his mom, sister, aunt, cousin, grandmother, father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate, or any other random relation that is taboo and edgy. And there are very few games that, if the sex was removed, entertain the player. To me if a game is fun without shagging every carpet in the game, then it is worth following. Those games are rare.

It is just that family wants to spend time together in June and I wouldn't mind taking a bit of time for myself. So, apart from that, things will continue on as normal. Just it doesn't feel fair if I didn't pause it, especially since I am not sure how much time I will miss.

Since I am not sure exactly when in June they want to meet since my family and organization is not a strong suit I will do the June custom renders as soon as possible. It will be a summer theme for sure and the poll will be out sometime next week.

Now for the update. We are passed the 600 render mark. Sitting around 610 give or take. Animations was a bit lighter with only 3 done which brings that up to 31. So all good there.
Now to find that pause button

It seems Philly has completed around 80 static renders and 3 animations in the last two weeks, an average of ~40 renders and 1.5 animations per week. The overall average is currently ~55 renders and 2.8 animations per week since Chapter 11 launched. Here are the charts:

Based on the latest numbers, we're currently still on pace to reach a typical chapters art counts somewhere in the July to August range, with animations being the gating element. I think Philly can improve his animation rate a bit without much trouble, but we also know he'll be taking some downtime in June. For now, I'd say early-to-mid August is still the most likely release date, but that's still mostly speculation so take it for what it's worth.

Ellen looks good, and given her dress we're clearly going to have time to go somewhere fancy-ish in Chapter 12. Definitely curious to see how this all plays out.

I am guessing the same as you. Also, I am guessing that Philly will probably make some optimal reworks and create some fan endings to the game as well. That means we could add more two months. By my calculations, the game will be totally finished around September 2023.

Yeah we got the Carli/Judy/Christina BS at the end of DA; it'll probably happen here with Katie, Ellen & Gloria with the MC or possibly other mixes with the not so nice women of this game
