Regarding the questioning of the why some feel the need to make "jokes" about a certain character/"fetish": Probably because normal guys are tired of having abnormality pushed, shoved, forced, and stuffed in all forms of entertainment. And when that push is lightly questioned by normal guys they are often called bigots, homophobes, and numerous other labels immediately.

So normal guys use "jokes" as a way to voice disapproval because anything more will have many calling for their banishment or in some cases even death. I'm certain most would gladly forego the jokes and be completely upfront with their dislike of it if those that support it wouldn't react in the usual pissy pussy pants way.

It is even more silly when the game itself implies Jake is okay with exploring more on the sexual spectrum when he is talking with Ellen.

How is that silly? Most men do not want to play as a character that would even entertain the thought of a homosexual encounter. It's natural to be repulsed by such a notion.

I was giving a reason (partially serious, partially tongue-in-cheek) for why Victoria isn't compared to the "good girls" in the context of the game. Stop looking for an argument, you won't get anymore from me. Unless you want to see more tranny content in this game. We can argue about that. But I'm sure the mods will be cracking down on that talk soon, so that argument will be short-lived.

Now, on a more serious note, Mac you should be less stern with your friends. Shit like that happens every day among goof.. I mean good people who enjoy messing with their friends. It's something to remember and laugh about. That sense of humour makes Ellen even more likable to me .

I have never gone as far as her, but around 10 years ago (shit, time goes by so fast) I was at this very special dive with some friends celebrating a colleague's birthday. It was because of him that we went to that special bar in the first place, if you catch my drift. One of my friends eyed a tall, curvy woman and started drooling. I warned him about the size of that person's adam's apple but he was quite drunk and wouldn't listen. The person approached my friend and started tousling his hair, I told him again but he still didn't pay attention. So I did what every good friend should: I stepped aside and let my friend have a pleasurable make-out session with that person he found so attractive. No guilt at all. Some minutes later he found out her secret and went back to drinking. Now he's married, has a little daughter and laughs his ass off when we recall that story.

Okay this time I will keep this quick. I always say that but then get long winded.

Currently I have animation number 12 running in the background. It has been going since last night and wont be done till tomorrow morning :O I also fixed up another because I felt it was too damn good not to.

As for renders it is approaching 250, so decent progress there as well. Had a ton of complex shots this week such as the one above.

I managed to knock out some of the script as well last week and will be doing more of that this following week.

The poll for the comic is out and that I will start next week. Hopefully, I can get that done before next weekend for you guys to enjoy.

Because I have this giant animation going today, I decided to take a "me" day today, so that will be the end of this post

It would be really nice if we could name our saves.

I've been making multiple saves for the different routes I've played so far, but with each update it's getting harder to remember what I was doing in each of them. I can only assume that this is going to get worse now that the game seems to be preparing to split into two distinct endgame paths.

On my main path, where I am only interested in Ellen, I got an internal monologue where the main character thinks "It's all happening again... Fuck, sometimes I wish I could shut things out like Sonja. But, this time it has to be different. The world is beyond saving... But, maybe I can at least save her."

Yet on my alternate path, where I chase after every woman in the game, I got a different line there where he thinks to himself "I need to end this... The longer I put off turning her in, the worse it will be. I need to be like Sonja, just do what has to be done. This world is beyond saving... I need to look out for myself. For once.."

I'm assuming that this means there will be one path where I go on a clandestine raid of the enemy headquarters in order to change Gloria's records, and another path where I just throw her under the bus for money. Not sure what actually determines this drastic change though. There was one question about whether or not you admired Sonja for sticking to her code, but that hardly seems like it should change the whole end of the game. Perhaps it's due to Victoria and her unnatural pheromones or whatever it was that she uses to affect peoples minds. That would be my best guess since I normally wouldn't touch her with a ten foot pole, and only did anything with her on the alternate route. Or maybe the good ending is locked to being with Ellen alone, and is proof that Ellen is best girl in the game.

Does anyone here know what causes this change?

Victoria has you spellbound. That is the "bad" path, you are her & Baynard's puppet. Break from that by refusing her advances. The Chapter 4 sex scene with her is the last chance to break from that so far (I think).

Then either she has bad sense of humour, or Ellen has a strange concept of friendship. However, I believe that they have known each other for quite some time, and MC can hardly be offended by her. Still, he can (or he already done that) take this ass and make her sorry for kind of joke.
All i want to say that she can be a shitty friend, but it compensates with that thinking that Ellen can be pretty damn good as fuck-material.
