Do you think this game is better or worse than Depraved Awakening so far?

I feel like the pacing here is a bit slower (but that leads to more fleshed out characters)

Better ofc and i am saying this as a huge fan of old game DA.
I cannot judge about story since it depends from person to person but in terms of graphics, animation, gameplay this game is whole another level than DA and story and character development is on point just like DA itself.
I don't see a slow pacing here. We've met with Gloria later in the game so it is natural that we don't have H-scene with her yet.
As for Katie, it would be unrealistic to rush her H-content. It was on time (again for me)
Other 2 girls are quite aggresive and have enough content as their story progress through the game.
Even side characters has good pacing.

Btw, i am not judging why you feel the pacing is a bit slower. I am sharing my own opinions here.

It is not. It is early in the game. You gotto pass Ellen scene and accept Sam's offer.

What you're missing is a sweet girl who goes by the name of Kleo Love Xavier. You hook up with her in VR if you don't take Ellen home with you to have her 'persuade' you to take the job.

I'm a big fan of Depraved Awakening but CoBD is on a level of its own. MWeb kinda hit on everything. In terms of graphics, animation, and gameplay, CoBD is untouchable. No scenes have been drawn out and none have been added gratuitously for kicks.

Having a Gloria scene would just make very little sense right now. Her relationships are very shallow at best and she's more worried about trying not to hurt others than she is about developing feelings. I think the pacing is just fine and the plot flows pretty smoothly

So I don't know mid to late 30's unless he meant a really young father.

You can consider it just a manner of speaking. Also, if Philly said that Sonja is 33-34 and the MC is "about her age", he could be 36-37. That would make him a young father but not an adolescent father. Anyway, for me it's clear that Meredith is quite older than the MC.

CoBD is the best game on this site, neck and neck with Being A Dik.
That sums up my opinion.

Better. Pacing is better so are the renders plus I always preferred sci-fi stories.

I never took Ellen home, LOL. I guess I just like the VR experience more.

I really enjoyed this one! Good cast of characters, a very engaging story, nice music and visual design, interesting gameplay choices, sexy sex scenes, and the sci-fi setting is a fun change of pace.

I was particularly impressed by the world building and the animations. I've never been a huge fan of the cyberpunk genre, but this game seems to focus on the elements I find most appealing. It does a great job of establishing the nature and relevant history of the setting without bogging the narrative down in exposition (or endless codex entries). That's practically a lost art these days, so it's great to see it here.

The animations are much more dynamic and detailed than I am used to. It certainly makes for good sex scenes, but it also really works well for character establishing shots, and even a few location shots. Very impressive.

I now eagerly await future updates. I'm not sure if you follow this forum much, but great work, Philly_Games!

I hope that in the next update we will take the four-wheeled beauty beast of our on the road again.
So far we have had 2 scenes on the road with her. (I don't count off-screen rides.) In both cases, these are nice passages with a sequence of frames and animations, accompanied by stylish music. On the way to the mission, pick up Gloria, StrangeZero - Burning Star. I don't know the name of the song while watching Victoria go to her house.

People, we have a Fan-Art Thread and it's such a shame that it's almost deserted compared to other games' fan-art threads. It's even linked in the OP but it doesn't seem to attract much attention.
If you happen to be interested, please go there and give the few artists there some love. Maybe this way other great fan-artists that we all know in this forum will be encouraged to contribute.

Some pretty good fan art starting to show up in the discord as long as you support the game (paywall side). That hadn't been the case before since some guys didnt want to try to replicate his art.
