Philly said he gave his patrons a preview of a side scene that he finally decide to leave out because he realized it wouldn't fit in this update.

I don't know why whenever I hear this song I always imagine a scenario with the MC as a ghost in action aboard that replica of a batmobile that's in Todd's garage.

He fell a bit behind on that proof estimate due to a real life issue that arose (Bison mentioned it in his last post)—an issue that was no fault of his own and out of his control.
Despite the aforementioned issue—and unless he says otherwise—then he's probably still on track for his expected release of "a week and change". Could be anywhere from 8 to 13 days from when he posted that dev update. I'd guess somewhere in the latter half of that estimate.

What does he consider a side scene?
Bearing in mind that we'll be going to the pit, every scene with Abby, Ellen, or Sonja will not be secondary. Their previews are safe.

My impression is that will appear while the MC and his companion (Abby, Sonja or Ellen) are sneaking into somewhere in the Pit. These girls will not get involved with our characters in any significant way.
Also, it is important to notice Philly said "I believe I have posted a preview."
Believe. So he isn't 100% sure. Probably because it's not a recent preview.
In that sense, your hunch about Chandra may be correct.
Now, can a meeting with Chandra be considered a "side scene"? Well, I don't know what it's about, but I really hope that's not the case. If the MC and Chandra meet to go somewhere, I hope it's important enough and plot-driven.
I won't be as pessimistic as you, and will cross my fingers. You could absolutely be right, but let's hope you aren't.

Secondly, I think this pic involves one of those dreams with Gloria.
She's dressed in a pretty sexy way, actually the first time we see her like that. Could that dream be the very first sexy moment between the MC and her? Nothing too serious (or it wouldn't be a side scene), but their first physical contact after all?
If that's the case, maybe Philly decided this update should rather focus on other things and left this dream for the next one.

Philly is one of the best authors when it come to pacing in porn games. I'd say we need a regular scene with Abby first before we do the threesome with Chandra. And we need to apologize/make it up to Chandra for barely giving her the time of day after our disappearance. I guess that could be combined with a threesome though.
Not sure there will be a sharing scene with Shanlon given the "I have no friends" blurp. The only recent male friend kinda isn't available anymore and he was a softy anyway. Maybe Kleo if she's depraved enough.
