I think as long as he made it optional, it'd be fine. Like for example I thought the way he handled Shanlon an episode or two back was excellent where (I can't remember how she phrases it) she basically says she'd let him share her if he wanted to and then the player gets a choice - so for me, I chose 'you only deal with me' as I'm not into sharing. As long as it was handled with options, I think it'd be fine.

Also just to add, I think it also matters which character it is - for example Katie's character wouldn't make a lick of sense to be into that, so her fans would probably be offended if she even brought it up in conversation, so context is going to matter, too.

So in a situation like that, let's say that came about and Katie's character wanted to do that - as long as they gave me the option of saying 'you know what, let's just dial it back to a doctor / patient relationship moving forward' I'd be good.

I think for more conservative / romantic / erotic (however you want to describe it) characters / relationships, it's good for some of them to be into something monogamous. But I certainly acknowledge that there are people like you who want group stuff, so ya, it definitely can be a balancing act at times for the developer picking which characters, etc. Probably why he created a super slut character like Shanlon so that he could do that type of stuff and have it be relatively unlikely that many people would develop feelings for the character and want something monogamous with her since she's clearly untrustworthy.

I was surprised enough in C10 that Katie even decided to do anal. Now, the thought of ramping her character up more to be more open like that? Better NOT fucking happen

Better not happen and very much doubt it will. Katie's not going to go on some dark whore-bag path the last 3 or 4 chapters of this game. There needs to be some character somewhat pure in this game for the romantics to have, however few of us there are left.

Turning her into another Shanlon, Vic, or Meredith would be pointless, given her personality and character. Just would make no sense this late in the game to do. A sudden 180-turn is unpleasant enough to think about.

Well her doing anal was definitely a step in the Carli direction. She's getting a bit more mischievous too, as Carli was. That big scene in her clinic I saw a lot of Carli in Katie, but I personally hope it doesn't stray too much beyond that. Katie's beginning of the game character and personality was so shy and girl-next door-y.

I don't think Philly would take all of that away, at least I hope so. I loved Katie in the beginning. I love her more now but I just hope Philly keeps her initial allure there and doesn't change her too much more. Her doing the anal in the clinic scene worries me a bit on how far and where Philly is going to make her in the final four chapters of the game.

Why not? It's not surprising at all, considering what she tells about her, that in college she was basically sleeping around and doing all that crazy stuff. First of all, Philly is not making this game only for you, and you are not entitled to any aspect of this game neither am I cuz Philly is Developing this game and has all creative freedom to modify characters relationships according to him. You have to understand why Philly is giving you all those choices..., and about Anal sex Philly announced it before that this game will have many fetishes.
