This game suffers from feature creep! Breeding season was good this game is trying to do much and losing the point. The point being its porn. As in the game needs more porn and less of these worthless features.

I mean, it's the same guy who took half of Breeding Season's insane amount of money, spitefully said "hey it's my art, so strip the game of everything I made", which killed the project and then decided to make another game to milk thirsty nerds for more obscene amounts of cash. I'm not really holding much hope for anything, and I'm not really surprised at this point. If the game ends up good, that's great, but you'll never catch me donating to someone with this kind of track record. But I mean nobody else seems bothered by it, so it's not like my opinion matters; they're still making $16k a month.

Thing is, the signs of the "dev" going the lazy, cash milking route has already been made apparent when you see that all the new scenes are just garbage spritework in the album. The full, animated scenes in the beginning were literally the only thing to look forward to in this game. Take that away, and... well, why even bother?

Hopefully things change, but, yeah...
The fact that people keep supporting this nonsense tells me I'm in the wrong business.

The only way that they will finish the game in that time frame is to forsake all the animations that should be proper animations and replace them with sprite animations which seem to be what they're doing. That honestly just makes it worse then putting back the deadline a little longer. The sprite animations are absolute shit, and the art is the only good thing about the game.
You make a distinction between sprite animations and "proper" animations. Which one do you mean by that? Do you mean the large sprites versus the smaller ones?

Well, I was reading theses posts after the update because I tried breeding season. After reading I can see it would be a waste of time to try cloud meadow since apparently the dev's have no intention of finishing the game they stole from someone else and just want to milk money from their supporters. I gotta say though the artwork does look good. Its a shame.
You could also just do what I do. Just download the game every once in a while, find the gallery code, and enjoy the gallery animations. I've honestly never tried to actually play the game because of what I've heard about that experience from others. But the animations in the gallery, even some of the smaller sprites in my opinion, are quite good.

oh btw this is not the only dev thats milking it's supporters, you should the check out the shit storm that is simbro. last update was last year.... yet still getting 5k per month on patreon
I've got another one for you. Ever heard of Malise and the Machine? Last release was two years ago, I think. And they've just started a new game. I stopped caring for that game at this point.

Thing is, the signs of the "dev" going the lazy, cash milking route has already been made apparent when you see that all the new scenes are just garbage spritework in the album. The full, animated scenes in the beginning were literally the only thing to look forward to in this game. Take that away, and... well, why even bother?
Do you mean there are other, better animations at the beginning of the actual game that are not part of the gallery?

is monster girl island and breeders of nephelym are good games???
I haven't touched Monster Girl Island in a long, long time, so I cannot say anything about that. I remember that it was decent at the time, but that was quite early in its development. But I think Breeders of the Nephelym is a very mediocre game. At one point the development of that game even went backwards, going as far as removing certain things in order to "revamp" the game. A thing I would love to not see developers do either.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I tried entering all the cheat codes that the game provided, new and old and even the one in the pastebin into the game, everywhere I could and I get nothing. I can get the money, or the Sprite Scenes in the album. I really don't understand how the cheat codes are suppose to work, but that honestly make it really disappointing in all honesty. If anyone can explain how I'm suppose to enter them, or what cheat codes are still active and working, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Welcome to Cloud Meadow Milking Operation.

Your continues support is very important to us, else we would have to actually get real jobs.
Because of this reason, we have a real issue with making this game.

You see, as long as we are making it, you people give us money - which is great.

But once we are done, you dont have a reason to support us anymore (since we promised to give you are copy of the finish game). No support = no money = we need to find real jobs.

Therefore we hope for your understanding, that this game will never be fully complete. We will always find 1 new thing to add and minimum 2-3 well functionel things, thats is worth changing for better or worse. Worst being better, since we can then change it again.

Luckily being 4-5 full time people on this job, work is really slow, which is also great for the overall progress, since we dont need to make alot of change every 2-4 months, for you people to still believe we are actually working on completing the game.

Kind regards
The Nimbus Leeches.

Cloud Meadow [v.0.0.1.4c] (2018) (Eng) [Unity]

Torrent -

v.0.0.1.4c
Tomorrow is going to be the last day of hotfixing for bugs, there'll be another hotfix later in the month with more of the palletswaps enabled. The reasoning is that we have a few major refactors in the works, some of these bugs are going to stop existing in the near future, or be made irrelevant. Tonight Ursa and Kodex will be going through the remaining bugs, as well as anything new added to the bug list tonight, and from there they'll decide which bugs are absolutely critical to fix, and which ones will be put on the backburner and double checked when the refactors are done.
Saves are compatible.*

Fixes

Fixed jiggly plants.
Fixed floating pixels
Fixed the monster name being too unreadable
Fixed several issues with HD scenes
Fixed a dungeon tile having it’s events not spawn in the correct location
Fixed some issues with the jump pads in the dungeons
Fixed some dialogue for going to and from Katerina Station for clarity.
Fixed the dungeon mine entrance being a little wonky looking.
Fixed being able to cook without energy.
Fixed Crab scenes not unlocking in Album.
Fixed a bug with the HP counters in combat.
Fixed the cat rock reappearing
Potentially fixed the other barns barn sign not working.

Nonsense. I really like this type of game. But to find a really good project is very difficult.
Oh I thought your list was of bad games, I'm glad I deleted my Monster girl Island reply then.

I think I broke the story progression somewhere. This foreman is still wringing his hands about his stock in a mine that was a total of one room with a body and a monster. There were 2 small chests with loot and a big chest with a strange crystal that hung in my inventory after the quest disappeared, then later vanished without event or notice.

I still have no idea how seed bundles are used, what Mr. Bucket is supposed to do for me, what refining is supposed to do, or how to learn recipes other than trial and error.

Is that cookable, and does she do me any favors for making it?

Oh yeah "refactoring" and "pallet-swap" - they're just throwing development buzzwords around to make it seem like they're working really hard. The fact that this project still is raking as much money coming in as it does despite literally no new development for game play/character/mechanics expansion speaks volumes to me.

I guess paying people to lie to you is the norm nowadays. Capitalism at it's finest.

Boozant Butterbeer and Scooped Plemon both heal instead of increasing Swiftness. Hotton Halva gives Swiftness instead of healing. None of the +exp crops and products appear to do anything.

Hotton is tricky to farm because there's no graphic, every morning the plants look like flat land with no fertilizer hilight. Trying to locate them for watering by the hovering arrow alone is error-prone, so I always lose several before they grow out.

Sometime when re-entering breeding contests, available monsters will duplicate, in inventory and in the barns. Their stats will advance separately, but when one is manumitted both will be released. This wrecks hell on lineage though, and even after getting rid of them, ancestry and bloodlines are still screwed up.

Sometimes when running into Clovertown from the farm, time will stop. As exploitable as this is, stamina limits won't regen. Ending the day or restarting the restarts the clock.

EDIT: I don't believe skill level contributes to player damage. Increased rank makes a noticeable difference for all other companions and monsters, but player damage is always within a few points of physique. Camilla's flying fan does better damage with a 1/3 of the physique and skill level. skill levels don't appear to do anything for debuff/poison/regeneration rates, either.
