Both botnet's and Prinplup's mods only allow going back right now. Having you jump ahead, without making decissions that decide how a future event plays out just won't work.
Now, having played to day 8, then moving back to 5 evening via checkpoint or browser console, back again to 7 morning, that may very well work.
You do keep your stats and stuff. Which will allow you, for example, write a eternal contract for NPC_xy, then jump back to the start of the scene and present it to her right away.
This does lead to certain problems though.
There are instances in the game where you can choose to do either the one or the other thing, and future scenes will play out according to the decission you made. If you now jump back and pick the other route, don't be suprised for getting strange results.
Example for this: when going on the hunt for Titus, you can choose to have Brittany to join you (if you played to fulfill the prerequisites for that, of course). Now if you let that event play out, then jump back and choose to go without her, you will still get dialogue with her being present, because the parameter/flag for her being present has already been set to True.
It is a minor thing, and the fault of the player using the mod turning the storyline into a prezel, of course, and NOT that of the mod creator or
G28Here himself. So don't cry and expect them to fix something that wasn't supposed to break in the first place.
(
Sorter : that last thing is a general observation/warning for all potential mod users, and is not in any way supposed to be a shot at you or your question!)
