It doesn't crash or anything see goes back to the text I was just on. I can see the next box for a split second then it goes back. This happens anywhere in the game not at a certain point.
Check under preferences and make sure Rollback Side is set to Disable. If it's set to left or right then when you click on that side of the screen it returns you to the previous text instead of advancing.
