Haha, I misinterpreted your post, I thought you were saying that there's no point in obsessing over this particular game because "go play something else", like many people say, which, every time, pisses me off (because it's literally the opposite). But regarding that idea, about transforming to text-based game, I don't think it makes much sense, because it's not like he can't make or can't make time for making renders, it's that he doesn't make them. He doesn't want to, he is not interested. Especially now that he knows that not a single adequate person would support him, and he's left with only a bunch of <people_who_support_ttll> whom he despises. So switching to text-based wouldn't solve any problems.

Not entirely or maybe include the important renders first, at least the updates will be quicker, this game screams of being abandoned, I doubt ttll himself or the patrons will have any patience as time goes on, such is human nature.

What makes you think it will quicken the updates? Do you think that he can't release the update until there is an enormous amount of renders which take years to make or each render is so complex that it requires a week or so to make? The very first release he made in less than a year, according to his own words, the second one took 2 months. He made a poll around that time about how much time each update should take, 2 months was the result. So, he has an average speed of work. The average is the quality of his renders as well. So, like I said above, it won't quicken the updates. I believe, the only thing that could help in this situation is unsubscribing from his patreon and mass reporting him there (supposedly, it worked with Icstor, his big brother).

No matter how much good faith we wanna put into people, or believe that our choice is the right one and we'll surely see a return.
Money will always be the main appeal to the majority of the developers, so its only natural for them to plan smart or less smart choices in order to delay and take advantage of such system.
So Yeah, unfortunately cutting off what should be meant to support and motivate them would be the only driving force to actually get them to work, else they'll blatantly and shamelessly keep taking advantage of the generosity of the fans.

Duriel, "ttll" is a Russian developer, and this Russian, money is despised, as a rule, it is driven by an idea, so I doubt that it can be pressured through money.

Why isn't the game tagged as abandoned yet? it clearly is abandoned if it didn't got any updates for 1 year.

Could someone give me an idea of how much it a doormat the mc will be in the love paths?
I prefer those paths to the alternatives. However, as someone who owns his own house, the amount of groveling, simping and just putting up with stupidity in the first maybe 4 minutes was terrifying and worrying.
The graphics are amazing! But I seriously don't do non self-respecting doormat behavior (ain't the right grammar but my mind is currently in lala land).

People involved in the development of such games are excellent specialists working in large companies, and receiving a lot of money. The development of games of the XXX category, for them it is just entertainment, recreation, and the money they receive from sponsors, do not stimulate them in any way, so they are relatively small. The promotion of their games often depends on their desire or on a large amount of free time.
